Lillian nodded. Her coughing stopped she croaked out, "Yeah. Just give me a second."

Darren chuckled and got up to get dressed.

“You ready to go?” He said turning to Lillian.

Lillian nodded and stood up, "Yep."

“Sweet!” He grabbed Lillian pulling her close and kissed her again. “Let’s go then”

Lillian smiled and sneezed, "Let's go."

Darren get in the car and drove to the restaurant where he and Lillian waited for Brody.

Lillian coughed a few times. Her illness was getting worse.

Brody get there 5 minuets late(per usual) and greeted Darren. “Hey man!” He turned his attention to Lillian, “You brought company? Who’s this?”

Lillian gave Brody a small wave, "I'm Lillian."

“Oh! Right! Darren talks about you a lot.” He said with a smile as he sat down.

They all ordered their food and Darren spoke. “So how’s life?” He said with a laugh.

“It’s been fine. You’re the one who got the lead in the musical and didn’t tell your best friend!”

“Are you in the musical too?” He looked at Lillian dropping the subject with Darren.

Lillian nodded, "Yep, lead girl right here."

“Really? That’s cool!” Brody smiled at her, “So how did you and Darren become a thing?”

"Uh…." Lillian looked to Darren.

Darren’s head snapped up. “We-uhh- we met at rehearsal and we both liked each other,” Darren’s face began to turn red, “so I asked her out and here we are I guess.”

"Yep!" Lillian squeaked out before coughing.

Brody laughed, “Wonderful…”

“You okay?” He looked at Lillian who was coughing loudly.

"It's just a little cough," Lillian waved it off.

Brody nodded and did the same.

Brody and Darren spent the next 5 minuets discussing football strategies.

Lillian rolled her eyes and sipped at her water.

Darren noticed Lillian’s boredom and went on to a new subject. “So Lillian’s gonna be an actor when she graduates.”

“Really?” Brody turned to Lillian with fake interest. He saw what Darren was doing.

Lillian noticed Brody's fake interest, "Actress. And yeah."
