"What?!" She half yelled,"I haven't seen Paige, and I gotta run!" She said quickly as she ran towards the audition room.

The judge looked around the auditorium "Hey you, Are you trying out" Her gaze was fixed in Lloyd in the back of the auditorium. "It's now or never hunny!"

Stormy cursed. He had forgotten his earbuds in the auditorium. He ran back and decided to stick back and watch this kid audition.

Lloyd froze and glanced around. Um, guess I'm the only one here? No, you're not here to audition. He sat for a couple seconds before getting up. What are you doing?! I DON'T KNOOOW! He went and stood on the stage. What now?! Sing the first thing that comes to my head? So he did. It was good, very good actually. Being an angel, singing was something that sort of came naturally, he just rarely sang in front of anyone.

Raven burst into the auditorium, panting since she ran across the whole school," I'm trying out too," She said between breaths.

Stormy grabbed his earbuds from back stage and paused. That kid on stage had an amazing voice. Who was he?

"Okay" the judge eyed Raven. "You go after this kid then."

Darren entered the auditorium as well he sat down a few rows from the front and watched the audition, one after another.

Lloyd quickly sat down, his face flushed. Why would you do that?! I don't know! Leave me alone! He felt very small and awkward. He was at least a year younger than everyone here, having skipped a grade, and no doubt none of them had even heard of him.

"Thanks, person," She said while smiling. After she calmed down, she was amazed at the kid on the stage and kept watching him.

Darren adjusted where he was sitting to go sit next to Lloyd. He held out a hand "Hey im Darren, who are you?"

Stormy went into the audience and sat a couple rows back from Darren, watching the guy who just auditioned.

"Er, I-I'm Lloyd. Lloyd Windsor. Nice to meet you." Lloyd shook Darren's hand. His heart was pounding, his social anxiety getting the best of him. He still couldn't figure out what had gotten into him, just going on stage like that. It's because you were too awkward to say that you weren't auditioning, stupid.

"Nice to meet you, I haven't seen you around here before, you new?"

"No, I just… don't talk much. I don't think we're in any of the same classes, either." Yeah, because you're in AP classes. Shut up! That's not important, maybe we just have different teachers. Sure.

"Probably not. I'm not-um- academically inclined I guess. I'm the quarterback so if wanna stereotype that."

"So you were -ah- really good up there and stuff"

"Um, t-thanks. I don't usually sing in front of… anyone, really. I was just planning to do backstage stuff, but she called me up, and I just got startled and didn't know what to do…"

"No I get it, it's true that our reputation gets in our way of remembering that at the end of the day we're all just human. A jock thing I guess"

Lloyd looked away awkwardly, his face flushing. Since no one knew who he was, he pretty much never received compliments. He wasn't entirely sure how to respond, other than simply thanking Darren again nervously. Wait, you auditioned… that means you have to have an actual part! What have I done?!

Darren in Lloyd sat awkwardly in silence while the kid on stage belted out lyrics like their life depended on it.

He watched the girl audition. She was good, or at least it seemed so to him. His head still felt like it was buzzing. Is this adrenaline? I don't know, you never do anything that would give you an adrenaline rush.

Darren turned to notice the paled quality of Lloyd's face. "Adrenaline rush?"

She was internally having a heart attack, this was her first time singing in front of anyone. If I get a side role then I'm good, but if I get the main role, I will literally murder myself.
