"Yeah..yeah okay. You've done stuff like this before? Oh wow, of course you have. Sorry…I'm just nervous," she mutters, looking down at her feet.
The nurse smiles. "He's very lucky to have someone like you look after him."
"Yeah..I guess he is…" she whispers, not looking up.
The nurse nods. "He'll be alright." She says gently. Jason nods. "Take care of my brother please." She chuckles. "We will."
Saffi sighs and motions for Jason to come to her. "If you want them to take care of your brother you're going to have to let them go," she says softly.
He nods and climbs into her lap. The nurse exits, catching up with the other men and women in charge of taking care of Milo.
Saffi ruffles his hair softly and hugs him. "All of these people are professionals, they know what they're doing. Milo will be perfectly fine," although she didn't know if she was saying that for Jason or herself.
Jason nods, hugging her back as he curls up in her lap.
Saffi hums softly and lays her head back against the wall.
(Okay so, I'm going to go to bed. And if you aren't on before I leave again tomorrow I will be back for good around sept 5th)
Jason looks at her, concern in his face.
Saffi shakes her head and sits up a little. "What's with the look, Jason?"
"You still look tired." He says softly.
"I am not," Saffi mutters. "I'm fine…"
He nods and clambers onto her lap, hugging her.
Saffi smiles slightly and begins to hum again.
Jason listens to her happily, slowly falling asleep again.
Saffi taps her foot softly against the ground as she hums, closing her eyes but not able to sleep.
Jason holds onto her, sleeping peacefully.
Saffi sits there quietly, looking around at the bland hospital room. She sighs and shakes her head, letting out a long breath.
"Ngh… Milo…" Jason whimpers softly.
Saffi bounces her knee slightly and hugs Jason closer to her. "Shhh…" she whispers, a tear falling down her cheek.
Jason lets out a muffled shriek, starting to cry quietly.
"Hey…hey…it's okay.." Saffi whispers softly. She looks at him sadly and wipes off a tear that had fallen down his cheek. "Everything is okay…"
He clings to her, shaking and sobbing.
"Jason…talk to me…it may help to talk about it," Saffi says, trying to steady her voice.
"No…" He holds onto her, shaking his head.
"Okay. I get it…You don't have to," she whispers, hugging him tightly. "But you have to at least tell me how I can make things even the slightest bit better."
"J-just hold me…" Jason whimpers, gulping back tears.
"Of course Jason…" she says and hugs him tightly, kissing the top of his head.
