Cassie gave a quick nod, hopping down off the stage. "Dropping off voice lessons does that."

Lillian moved and jumped off the stage with her, "That makes sense."

Laura watched Cassie curiously. She seemed to be an interesting person.

Cassie looked up, as though feeling eyes on her, and met Laura's gaze. And then she winked.

Laura's eyes widened and she looked away quickly. Stupid, she scolded herself.

Lillian glanced around the room and then at the clock, "So I guess rehearsal is over now."

"Leavin' me with a lack o' things t' do." Cassie mused, glancing down at her phone in her hands. "Maybe I'll start some trouble."

"With who?" Lillian asked a little curious and wary, "Or just in general."
