Ani doubled over. She coughed weakly, her ears ringing and her eyes watering. She thought she might be seeing things, but it looked like part of her hair was turning red. That was weird. She must be seeing things.

"What the- Hair shouldn't do that." Ashley said. Tony jumped up and ran to a table to grab a strong sedative, just in case. "Watch her." He told Ashley.
"Ani. It's gonna be alright. Just stay alive." Ashley tried to calm her down.

“I don’t think that that’s normal…” Meg said helpfully, wringing her hands. “I need to leave this room, I’m going to have a panic attack.”
"Here," Ashley tossed her phone to Meg. "You can call your parents if you need to."
“Thanks. Okay. I’ll be back.” Meg rushed out of the room, standing just outside t and leaning her back against the door. She pulled up her dad’s number and texted, Hey, can you pick me up? Steve replied almost instantly: Meg? Meg typed, Yeah, its me. things are going really wierd over here. Please come? Steve again replied quickly: On my way. Meg sighed and slid down into a sitting position, her back still against the lab door.
Bile rose in her throat. Ani choked it down, desperately trying not to puke. She didn't want to do it in front of these… strangers. She wondered what was causing this. She thought over her day. Everything had been normal… wait! Her dog had bit her, but that wasn't supposed to cause something like this… was it?
Lexi is trying to help Ani, "Hey, ok, I need you to try and keep breathing steadily it will calm you down and help regulate the pain." She moves to help support Ani, "Also if your body is trying to do something lay down, throw up, or anything else listen and do it. Your body knows what is best and is going to do it's best keep it's self alive."
"Ani, do you know of anything that could have caused this?" Ashley asked. "Jarvis, call a doctor." She said urgently.
"I am contacting them now, Ashley." Jarvis responded.
Meg saw the glint of a headlight outside and nodded to herself. She poked her head back into the lab and said, “I, uh… I have to go…” Nobody paid her any attention as she ran out, opening the door of the beat-up convertible and sliding in to the backseat.
Ashley saw tail lights out the window. "Meg must have left." She said.

Ashley heard faint Sirens on the road to her house. "The doctors are almost here." She said.
"Good." Ani said, fighting to hold down the contents of her stomach. She took a deep breath and then, all of the sudden, it stopped. She sat up, and looked around. She brushed her hair out of her face and froze-it had a streak of red. "How did that get there?" She tried to say, but no words came out of her mouth.
