Shattered Time ( Time Travel Rp , no not Doctor who)

" I think he went to go somewhere , but that doesn't matter,as you can all see, time has stopped.There is a reason why if you would all calm down." His voice was soothing as it mesmerized Zoe.

"There is an vile deity whom they call the Keeper. For purposes unknown he has decided to shatter the timeline from the past to the future of our universe. Unable to contain the pieces of it, the shards have fallen onto our planet Earth, however through different places in our time. They have been hidden somewhere in these periods, each with a dangerous quest of their own which will be time consuming. Without out the shards, the universe we know, will enter into a time loop and soon enough our entire existence will be destroyed. A group called the Defiance tried to find the shards and stop the keeper, but they were unsuccessful and the Keeper destroyed the group with only a few who survived, but soon died off. Only I survived.Now at first, the disturbance was not noticeable and life went on until time stopped in our period. I know this is hard to believe but, the proof is right in front of you and we don't have much time." He said in a worrying voice. " The reason you all are still moving is because you all have special powers."

"Time's stopped and we have powers," River looked at the wizard man, "Cool."

"Well, where's my foster mum? She-She….. means a lot."

" Well don't you see, if you don't stop him, you die." He said it simply like that. " Well, what are these special powers you are talking about." Zoe replied in interest.

"Well, sweetie she is simply frozen for now. Now to answer you're question, Your ancestors were in the Defiance. They were some of the most powerful magic wielders in time. They passed down their powers to you, before the Keeper destroyed them. You just have to simply awaken them." The wizard said. " Whoops, I forgot to introduce myself, I am Marki, but I know who you all are."

"So…. you know my deep dark secrets?"

" No not like that sweetie, I just know your names since I was hiding behind that bookshelf which was uncomfortable."

"Oh. Wait, what?"

Marki looked at Cora. " This isn't a dream dearie, you can still die." He said before continuing. " I will train you kids, for the next few weeks before you have to go." He said sadly.

" Why to collect the shards of course." He said it as if it were normal.

" I only know the periods, but time will help you." The wizard said casually. " So when do we start training?" That was the one thing that caught her.

"Wait, what shards?"

"Like, describe them what they do the history what why we need them?"

Marki was getting impatient, it was clear they didn't have time for this. Before he was about to respond, Zoe cut him off and responded first. "Weren't you listening to him? We don't have much time!" She exasperated.

"I'm fine with whenever," River responded.

She let herself calm down first before she spoke. "So, when do we begin training?" She spoke in a calm voice. " Actually we begin right now." Marki waved his hand and they disappeared in a puff of blue smoke.

"Wow," River exclaimed, "Where are we?"

They had appeared in a grand palace. Light shone through the windows radiating it's beauty. " This, is where you'll be staying for awhile." Marki said gesturing with his hands and arms.

" I guess I should give you a tour so you don't get lost." He said in a cheerful voice as he ventured off towards a hallway.

"I really don't like large buildings."

Zoe ignored the comment as she rushed to catch up to Marki. Who knew old people could be so fast?
