Bethany ran up the hill. She nearly slipped once or twice, but managed to get up without falling.

"Hey Beth." Ferran greeted, adjusting the scope.

"Heyo Bee." Ellen said, leaning in behind Ferran.

Bethany gave a slight nod, then turned to look out at the stars.

“Hi, Bethany. There should be a meteor shower somewhere in that direction-“ Cato pointed “-or so Luna tells me.”

Luna looked at him pointedly. She reached for her pad of paper and wrote out, Look it up! I'm not lying!

"She's not Cato." Ferran looked at him. "Alright we should be in position now we just gotta wait for Aster."

Bethany nodded. "We should be watching the horizon over there." She finally said softly. "It'll show up there first."

“Sounds about right,” Cato agreed.

"You guys just had to… wait give me a moment." Aster panted, plopping onto the floor, "You guys just had to choose the highest and steepest place. You guys know I can't climb."

"Exactly!" Ferran laughed. "We were hoping you'd pass out again."

Ellen chuckled. "Plus, there's less light pollution."

Luna was smiling at Aster. She gave her a goofy sort of laughy wave.

“Added bonus: I got to walk all the way up here with snacks,” Cato laughed.

Bethany wanted to say something, but as she had nothing to contribute to the conversation, she stayed silent.

"Ferry Boat wants me to pass outttt. But snACKS? I will take the snacks, thank you." Aster nodded, pushing himself up.
