Lisbet found Acadius in the crowd, sitting at a table. She handed him a chocolate milkshake, his favorite type.
"Hey Lis." He smiled and waved, the Social's jacket stretching across his broad shoulders while two girls watched him, giggling.
Lisbet smiled, pulling down her riding skirt and waving back. "We need to talk." She sat down across from him, drumming her fingers on the table. "Mikka's. . . not gonna be here anymore."
His smile slowly turned into a frown. "What do you mean?"
"Mikka left. He's not in town anymore. Out of state. Gone. Adios."
"That's against the rules."
Lisbet crossed her arms. "I know. But, Acadius, come on, this is Mikka, he leaves for a few, he comes back, right? It's not a problem."
Acadius leaned forward, slamming his fist against the table. "IT'S A DAMN PROBLEM LISBET! HE BROKE THE DAMN RULES! WHERE IS HE?!"
Lisbet narrowed her eyes. "I don't know, 'Dius. Just lay off, okay? Stop being so old-guard."
"WHERE THE F#CK IS HE, LISBET?!"
"I don't know."
"THE TRUTH!"
"I don't know!"
"LISBET!"
"I DON'T F#CKING KNOW, OKAY?!"
Acadius glared at her, standing up from the vinyl seat. "Do you know what the punishment is?"
Lisbet stood up, face red. " 'Dius, Mikka'll come back. Stop being stupid."
"And when he comes back, he'll face punishment. A beating up. But he's not here now, is he? Maybe. . . we should beat up someone. . . who's close to him. . . like you."
She bit her lip, slowly backing away. " 'Dius. That's against the rules."
"An eye for an eye, perhaps?"
