Jay kissed him back, the mark on his cheek glowing. "Yeah. Are you?"

Finn nodded and took his hand. He led him to the parking lot.

Jay held Finn's hand contentedly, walking beside the taller male.

Finn looked down at him and gave him a quick kiss before letting go of his hand. He got in the driver seat of his car.

Jay kissed him back, then climbed into the passenger side.

Finn started up the car. One hand on the wheel and the other on Jay’s hand. “So I have to go pick up Poppy and then I was thinking the diner near my house?” He suggested.

"Sure." Jay replied with a smile, shifting his hand to lace his fingers with Finn's.

Finn nodded and drove towards the elementary. “So my aunt always throws a dinner party a few days after coming back. There’s no way I can get out of it this time. I usually have a friend over. Since all of the team hates me and my aunt hates willow would you mind coming? It’s mostly just snobby rich people but there are a few cool people like artists and musicians,” He asked rambling slightly.

Jay poked Finn in the shoulder to get him to stop rambling. "I'd love to." He replied with a smile. "Though I'll need that salve for my cheek, and you'll need to use it on your hand."

Finn nodded. "Yeah she's probably already expecting me to use it. Can't have anyone asking me questions about my soulmate when I apparently have no clue who they are," He says with a weak smile. "thank you though. I don't think I'd make it through dinner alone."

Jay smiled a little bit, and nodded. "Alright." he kissed Finn's cheek. "And you're welcome." he kept his fingers laced with Finn's.

Finn smiled and brought his hand up to lightly kiss. He pulled into the elementary school parking.

Jay smiled at Finn happily. "I love you." he said softly.

"I love you too," Finn said kissing him on the cheek and then opening the door. "I'll be right back."

Jay smiled lightly. "Alright." he got out his pen to start sketching again.

Finn came back after a few minutes and put Poppy in the back seat. He then sat in the drivers seat. He looked behind him double checking that she is buckled before taking Jay's hand again and driving. Poppy was already coloring in her coloring book.

Jay laced his fingers through Finn's, smiling at him. "You know…dinner is going to be both amazing and sucky at the same time." He remarked. "Because there's no way I can kiss you during it. Or hold your hand. Which is gonna suck"

Finn sighed at the reminder. "I'll have to sit across from you so I'm not tempted," He said smirking. He kissed him at a red light. "Whats the amazing part?"

"I get to still be with you." Jay replied with a smirk, returning the kiss happily.

Finn smiled “I like being with you too,” he said kissing him on the cheek. Poppy giggled in the back. Finn stuck his tongue out at her before continuing the drive.

Jay glanced back at Poppy with a faint smile on his face. He looked at Finn again. "Mm. Well, good."

Finn parked in front of a small diner. There weren't many people inside. He sat there for a second before letting go of Jay's hand and getting out.

Jay glanced at the diner. "Is this the place?" he asked, looking at Finn again. "And…where's the salve?"

Finn took a jar out of his pocket and sat back in the car. he applied it on his own hand before taking some and putting it on Jay's cheek. He then got out and picked Poppy up.

Jay checked in the car mirror that his mark was completely covered, then got out of the car. "Should I just leave my backpack here?" he asked.

"Yeah I'm leaving mine in the back," Finn said holding poppy and walking to the sidewalk waiting for Jay to get out.

Jay nodded, getting out of the car and walking over to Finn and Poppy. "Alright."

Finn nodded. "Yeah you?" He asked standing close to him.

Jay smiled a little. "I'm fine." he replied, looking up at Finn.

Finn walked keeping close to Jay. His hand right next to Jay's but not holding it. When they went inside he asked for a booth.
