Starlight get over here! (closed, stalkers are cool)

"This wont take long," she said reaching into the flames to turn the meat strips over, "Unless of course you want your breakfast raw"

He shook his head quickly "No, it's fine. I just hope they cook quickly." He leaned back on his arms and watched the fire quietly.

Frost watched the fire dance for a few moments before turning to Ryker, "What brought you to the tournament?" she asked.
(Imma be gone for awhile imma go shower..)

"Um..well..family actually.." Ryker said, turning to Frost "And you?"

"That pegasus…" she mumbled turning the meats again

He nodded "Cool…." looking at the fire, Ryker zoned out, waiting for the meat to cook.

After a few more minutes frost pulled the meat out pacing the blackened strips on the grass. "Well breakfast is ready" she said as she put out the flames.

Ryker nodded and took some of the meat "Thanks," he said softly, glancing at her with a smile.

Frost smiled back at him as she chewed the savoury meat. now I just have to figure out how to scare that Iceblaze….

Ryker ate the meat quickly, watching the woods for competitors. He smiled when he didn't see any and he stood up.

Frost got to her feet. "Wanna find another stakeout point?" She asked

"That would probably be a good idea," He said with a smile, happy to be doing something to stay alive.

Frost nodded and led the way back into the trees. "How come you're in the tournament if you're such a scaredy cat?" She asked

Ryker smiled slightly My plan is working.. he thought and then said "Well…like I said, family..and I wanted to see if I could survive."

"Seeing as you're such a Scaredy,that kind seems stupid.." she said as they pushed through some underbrush.

"I'm not a scaredy cat!" He said as they pushed through the brush, jumping at the sound of a stick he broke "Well..maybe a little bit.."

Frost laughed, then came to a stop, "So where are you from Scaredy-pup?" she asked her eyes glinting with laughter.

"I refuse to be called that." Ryker said, crossing his arms and smiling a little "I'm from a small town in the mountains, it doesn't really have a name. And you?"

"Wolf territories…" she replied stooping to check some footprints before moving on.

"Nice," Ryker said, nodding his head and looking at the footprints.

Frost kept on picking up the pace through the woods hoping she wouldnt run into anyone. She wasn't afraid that she'd get hurt. She was afraid of having to kill….

Ryker followed Frost, sure that he heard something behind him, but too chicken to turn around and check.

Frost whipped around when she heard the noise behind her, Drawing her staff as she turned. she scanned the trees behind her stock still as she listened for more movement.
