One last transformation was all he could manage. He knew what to do. Dragonfly, again, he flew inside of it's mouth, careful not to get chewed.
Strange RP.
She dug the dagger into the monster's chest and it dropped to the ground.
Still skittering, it attempted to get up. Only to start gasping. It lay there twitching, and choking.
The last hybrid, alongside Spyke's hybrid, charged at her. {Come on. . . one more Riann.} An illusion of a giant wolf appeared behind her. It's silver eyes glared at the hybrid and charged at it, throwing it to the ground.
Finally, when it died of blood loss, and oxygen deprivation, a little flit came out of it's mouth.
The flit flew around the last hybrid, spectating, waiting for Riann to finish it off.
The white wolf looked like a burst of speed as it sunk it's teeth into the hybrid's neck. Though it was an illusion, it felt as if it's fangs were digging into it. The hybrid went limp and the wolf dissipated into a burst of mist.
All the illusions around her flickered out. Riann's tan skin looked paler and faded.
The flit left, zipping up to the hotel, minutes later, Spyke strode out, fully clothed, and with a butterfly knife in hand.
"Whew."
“Riann! Are you okay?” Lucille shrieked.
"Yeah. . . I should be okay." She waved Lucille off, swaying a little. She turned towards Spyke. "Nice fighting."
"You too." He said, clapping her on the shoulder. "Seriously, way to go."
She grinned. "Thanks."
Riann turned towards Lucille. "Have you figured your power out yet?"
“No I was too busy screaming.” Lucille replied.
She laughed and scanned the area. Part of the hotel was destroyed and inside people were screaming. The hybrids and pieces of the automaton littered the cement sidewalk. "Might want to get out of here first."
“We should find Katie…” Lucille pointed out, “Where is she anyways?”
(( she had to go, we can just pretend she's with us.
"I'd tell you all. But I can't shift anymore." Spyke said. Let's check it out?"
(Ok.)
(Okie dokie.)
"I've got all of your bags." Spyke handed them their stuff. "Let's go ."
"Sure." Riann said stepped towards the hotel and leaned against one of the walls. Her strength had returned, but she was still tired from all the illusions. She looked towards Spyke, concerned. "Are you feeling okay? That was a lot of shifting."
Riann grabbed her bag and slung it across her back.
"Yeah. For now. But I can feel it. It's gonna nip me in the ass later." He said.
She studied him for a couple more seconds, but turned around and began to walk. The sun had already begun to move towards the middle of the sky. "Let's try the inner city."
"Agreed." He said. "How about you, you sure you're ok.?" He inquired, worriedly.
(( gtg be on tomorrow
(Sure! See you later.)
