"Keeping my hand warm?" He quietly teased, squinting his green eyes.
Superhero RP Anyone?
"Just making sure you won't fall asleep again." she let go of his hand and grabbed the backpack.
"Yeah, yeah, sure…" he nodded facetiously.
She swung the backpack over her shoulder and grabbed her car keys, "Let's go? You sitting in the back or shotgun?"
He scratched his Adam's apple, "Shotgun,"
"Of course." she opened the car doors and got into the front, motioning for Gabriel to come in.
He sat down less than gracefully, paying close to no mind to the seatbelt's existence.
She put her foot down on the gas and drove the old Renault-Caravelle down the city lines, heading towards the freeway. "You understand why you can't stay, right? I have a job and I can't take care of you everyday."
He shrugged, "I guess." He answered, running a finger absentmindedly to trace his lips.
Marya nodded and kept her eyes on the road.
Gabriel glanced over at the driver.
(Kay I'm going to leave this rp, bc I can't really do anything and I'm a little in over my head for rps.)
Marya tapped her fingers on the wheel.
"I'm tempted to misdirect you," he smickered quietly.
BUT I LOVE YOU NAT
"You wouldn't dare." she shot him a quick glare.
"Really?" He snickered, "After the spwhole shower thing, that would surprise you~?" He teased.
"I don't have time for misdirection." she turned left, "And you wouldn't be able to surprise me. I've basically got you down."
"I feel offended by this," he tapped his chin.
"Don't they all," Marya muttered, feeling the weight of her locket press down on her chest.
"You wanna see my house?" He offered, "When we get there?"
She raised an eyebrow, "Why?"
"No reason." It's because he was scared.
"Okay then. I'll go." Marya flashed a smile.
He answered with a short "Thanks," he scratched his upper lip, with buried embarrassment.
She nodded and stopped on the side of the road for a second, pulling out a sandwich from the backpack, "Eat."
"What?" He blinked. "That's random,"
"I know." she blew some of her dirty-blonde hair out of her face, "But we've been on the road for a while and haven't eaten lunch so..Sandwich?"
"Coolio," he shifted some in his seat, watching her hair shift at her breath, and accepting the offer of food.
Marya bit into her sandwich, "See? I don't only eat oatmeal."
