Superhero RP!!! overpowered and under powered heroes welcome

(Hmm, that would be interesting, since my character's also a teleporter.)

It was the most normal day of her life, everything was perfectly normal. School was normal The weather was normal She was normal. That was the last time things would ever be normal for Reyna again.
Walking home from school Reyna was nervous, but only a little bit. Today was her 17th birthday and birthdays were always an odd occasion at the Thorne house, sometimes you got a surprise party and other years you were totally forgotten. If she didn't get a birthday this year it would be the 4th one, but she didn't really care, she was used to it by now.
Stepping through the front door she braced herself, but the "SURPRISE!" never came, so she plodded up to her room and marked another day off the calendar, thinking that that would be the end of it. However, that night something did happen and it changed everything.
Reyna woke up in the middle of the night feeling stiff and strangely tight. Trying to move her hand to brush her forehead she found the action far more taxing than normal and pulling her head from the pillow she almost tumbled out of bed, her body was encased in some sort of semi-clear and very hard substance.

(Then do they think that he's just a normal human with no powers?)

(Oh yea and maybe they could have some kind of connection you want them to)

(teleporter would be interesting with a @TheOne's character. And I just wrote how I got my powers.)

(Yeah, that's who she is inspired by, only she doesn't have telepathy and her diamonds are stronger/durable.)

(Love it. So, With so many people being mutants, are we just going to say that it's like X-men, or does anyone have ideas about why they are like that?)

As soon as he passed, Blink teleported to the adjoining street, pretending to be interested in a flower shop's window display. But when she snuck a glance over her shoulder to check his progress down the street, the villain was gone. She spun around, searching the lunchtime crowd frantically for a glimpse of the boy's grey hoodie. But he was gone.

(No idea, it could be X-men like, but not a part of that universe, like it would have the same background and reasoning but not have any of the characters. ?)

(Well, it's the same idea as X-Men, so should we have a team of enemies, or should the good guys just target everyday criminals?)

(I think a team of enemies would be really cool, maybe we can each make a villain.)

(Ooh, yes! I personally prefer villains to heroes, I would love to make a villain if we decide to incorporate a team of villains.)

Cool. So everyone can be in charge of one hero and one villain, and maybe your hero has some kind of connection or is the one to defeat your villain.

Blink turned back to the flower shop window and cursed, then paused and looked back at the bust street. "Is he…" she thought, "is he a mutant?"
When she first met Aster, Blink had thought him a normal human. But after he learned of her abilities, he revealed his own power, and joined the team. But what if today's target was the same way?
Fading slightly as she left the third dimension, Blink looked across to the 5th dimension, keeping her eyes peeled for the telltale shadow that even mutants specializing in invisibility were not able to cloak. (Humans can't see 5th dimension, but some mutants, such as the ones that specialize in teleportation, invisibility and telepathy, can see and/or manipulate it.)

Personality: ideal driven, follows his own rules and refuses to listen to others.
Flaws: doesn't listen, acts rashly, and is uncooperative with others
Looks: Sandy blond hair and blue eyes, 5'10" and around 180 lbs. Muscular and imposing with great posture.
Powers: Sonic manipulation (He can control all types of frequencies and interfere with technology and human biology)
Species: Human
Other: He is an experiment. A test for scientist trying to understand mutant abilities and synthesis/weaponize them in a controlled environment.

Personality: clever, calculating but reckless at times, a good leader though not very good at making decisions
Flaws: reckless, stubborn, prideful
Species: mutant
Power: same as Blink)

Shadow teleported down the alley and watched with amusement as the mutant that called herself Blink materialized across the street. And when he watched her look around, confused, he nearly laughed aloud. Females were so naïve…

(Also, a note about the paragraph above; no offense is intended toward females, I'm simply giving the character a personality.)

(question. does the whole team have like earpieces or something to hear each other?)
