Kameo didn't answer. He stared at the painted ceiling, the one with galaxies and stars that Ace had drawn with Kameo during a summer. Smiling, he pretended that Ace was still here, flicking paint everywhere.

Silver knew Kameo would be sad. He got out another cup and made some cocoa. He put extra chocolate in and put some Jammy Dodgers (A type of cookie) on a plate off to the side. When he was done he went to Kam's room and knocked on her door. "Kameo?" he asked softly.

She stood. Of course he won't answer. "Well, um, if you need something, I'll be here."

(Hey Abigail, Joanna standing outside his door too.)

Joanna nodded. "Kam, Silver's here with cocoa and cookies if you're interested."

"Food, especially good food like cookies and cocoa are a big help."

"I like cookies. Ace liked cookies too. Liked."

Joanna cringed. 'Great, we're not helping.'

"I'm so sorry, Kameo."

Silver sighed and said, "I lost someone too. A good friend. He was smart, funny, a fighter, popular, I really liked him. But he died. Things happen, and they're sad. We never truly move on. I remember this kid like I remember the back of my hand. But, after all these years, I realized that I have so many good people in my life, you included. Everything ends, and that's always sad. But everything begins again too, and that's always happy."
