Lucian finished and wiped his hands clean of any blood that had gotten on his hands. He took a seat on the edge of the table again, exhaling slowly. He leaned down a pressed a quick kiss to Morrigan’s forehead. “You’ll need to rest for a few days..”

Ryan took the bowl and peered at the substance inside of it. Yuck. This looks gross. He sighed, scooping some and rubbing it on his hands. He winced as it stung him a little, but the pain subsided quickly.

For a moment, the hallucination flickered, showing Lucian instead of Aaron Corvia. “L-Lucian?”, she croaked. “Is that you?” She coughed up a spurt of blood.

Lucian reached over and grabbed a fresh cloth, dabbing away the blood that was around her mouth. “Yeah, Morrigan, it’s me,” he said gently, forcing a soft smile.
“I think I’m hallucinating again.”, she told him on a frightened whisper.

“Do you want more of the medicine, or do you think you can handle it? I should really get you some pain medication as well,” Lucian said, eyes glancing over the labels on a few pill bottles that were set on a tray nearby.
Morrigan said nothing, only squeezed her eyes shut to stop tears of pain from slipping out. That’s when she realized she couldn’t move her right arm.

“Hey, everything’s okay.. I’ll get you something to help with the pain,” Lucian said softly and pushed off the table, walking over to the metal tray. He had no pain pills that would help completely, but he did have a small bottle of morphine. He got a bit into a syringe, double checking the dosage.
Morrigan said nothing, only squeezed her eyes shut to stop tears of pain from slipping out. That’s when she realized she couldn’t move her right arm.
