"I got her," Daso said, reaching out for her. The rope dug into the gash in his hand, and his grip made it feel like his shoulder was tearing out of its socket, but he ignored the pain.

Lucian half lifted Leah up to Daso with a grunt, pulling himself up out of the water to grip onto the rope.

Daso held Leah on his back, using his injured arm to hold her and his good arm to climb. He figured holding Leah with his bad arm would force him to ignore the pain. Clenching his teeth, he started the climb upwards, back towards the deck.

Lucian began to climb as well, a bit behind Daso. The ropes dug into his palms, and he knew he would have burns on his hands.
Reaching the top, Daso carefully lowered Leah onto the deck before turning and helping Lucian up.
Joanna helped Cicada to the infirmary and rushed back out on deck.

Lucian climbed over the rail with Daso’s help. “Thanks,” He said, feeling freezing from the water. He walked over to the body of the “woman”, ripping a scalpel form it’s chest. He walked back over to Daso quickly. “You need to get her to the infirmary, or at least start on CPR. I don’t know how long she was down there,” he said as he turned quickly, slashing open the throat of a zombie harshly.

Ryan stood towards the middle of the ship, looking frantically around. "Too much chaos…" He mumbled to himself his breathes shaky. "There's too much happening at one time. Too much…"
"CPR, got it," Daso repeated, placing his hands over Leah's chest and beginning compressions. He gazed down at her pale face. She looked peaceful. It was startling. "Leah, please, wake up," he whispered, continuing the CPR desperately.

Lucian looked over and saw Ryan standing around, looking dazed. “Hey, kid! Get back below deck!” He shouted, clothes splattered with dark blood.
