Lucian shifted the papers on his desk aside, picking up the cheese knife. He held it in his hands, seeming to study the blade. “Joanna had an interesting find for me yesterday. Bloody kitchen knife. Would you know anything about that?” He asked, looking up at her. Of course he knew it was her who used it, he was giving her a chance to directly admit it to him.
Kameo closed the diary when the ink dried and tucked it into his drawer, where a lot of finished diaries already filled the space; he'd been writing diaries ever since his mom had died when he was 6. That resulted in a ton of diaries. And he kept all of them to read. His best times, his worst times, all documented in those papers. Kameo pulled his goggles from the shelf and put them on, deciding to work on a bomb idea he'd been entertaining for a long time.

Leah leaned over the side of the ship, still drowsy from the alcohol. She watched as the water lapped against the side of the ship, a salty breeze blowing her hair back.
Morrigan froze. Stupid Morrigan. “Yes.”, she admitted quietly, keeping her eyes on the floor. “I forgot to wash it.”
"Hey captain! I just realized I'm out of Cara-" Joanna cut off when she spotted Leah. "Are you okay?"
It was a hard recipe, but he finished the first stage and let the chemicals sit on the stove to simmer. Kameo pulled off his goggles and headed upstairs, to talk to Captain. He saw her, leaning against the side of the ship, with Joanna and decided not to enter the conversation.

"Trieste is a long the way." Leah replied, looking towards Joanna, her jade eyes faded. "We can stop there. The markets are in town."

Morrigan froze. Stupid Morrigan. “Yes.”, she admitted quietly, keeping her eyes on the floor. “I forgot to wash it.”
"Captain, we were just at Trieste. And besides, we can't go back there." Joanna paused when she realized Leah was a bit tipsy. "On second thought, I can probably just add water to some milk to substitute cream. We don't have to stop anywhere."
He climbed up the mast, wanting to sit on the very top and stare at the world from above. He paid no attention to his pain and sat on the little space above, liking the feeling of wind through his hair. Kameo pulled out his cards, shuffling them and performing small tricks to the seagulls perched on the mast.

"Huh, we were? I thought that was Cielo. . ." Leah sighed, looking up at Kameo who was in the mast. She didn't dare go up. Ever since she was little, she had always been terrified of heights and drowning. Ironic since she was the captain of a ship.

Lucian nodded and set the knife back on the desk. “Yes, well luckily you did. Tell me, have you cut yourself since I saw you last? And don’t lie to me Morrigan, friends don’t do that to each other,” he said, a smile on his face.
"Why yes, Mr. Seagull, I did blow you away with my amazing tricks!" Kameo grinned, "But that wasn't even my best!" he threw all of his cards into the sky and caught every single card in one motion.
