"When Ace is cured." Kameo sighed and ordered everyone to stay back as he went inside the quarantine.
"Kameo, is everyone just going to watch me? Isn't that creepy?"
"Deal with it." he grabbed a needle and held Ace's arm, pushing the needle in and drawing Ace's blood.
Ace smiled at him, "If anyone's going to cure me, it'll be you."
Kameo nodded and left the quarantine, "How did you even end up in Divo?"

(I have to go for the next 14 hours or so, may pop in for one quick post tho)

As Joanna picked up the tray of scones, she heard something scuffling on the side of the ship. What was that? She picked up a knife and slipped it into her pocket.

( My spidey senses are tingling xD )

"Good to see that your alive, Ace." Leah grinned, but paused, thinking that she heard something. She turned around and walked across the deck. "Kameo, did anyone come onto the boat with you?"

"Yeah. We had a stowaway. Should be around here somewhere." Kameo yawned.

Cicada froze, They heard me, not good. Not good.

"Good to see that your alive, Ace." Leah grinned, but paused, thinking that she heard something. She turned around and walked across the deck. "Kameo, did anyone come onto the boat with you?"

"Yeah. We had a stowaway. Should be around here somewhere." Kameo yawned.

(And Cicada thought she was being sneaky XD)

As Joanna walked back to the group, she peered over the side of the ship.

"Well, then. We've already had a couple of those." Leah sighed, looking at Daso. She remembered the first time she had met him. Leah had completely disliked him, but half the crew wanted to keep Daso, so he stayed. "Just come out." She called out towards the stowaway.

(oh, I thought she was. oh well, still works since Jo Jo doesn't know where she is.)

(Yeah, her arms got tired so she went to hide on the deck.)

Ace plopped down on the floor and grinned, "It's a long story."
"This is going to take a long time."
He considered it, "Okay, let's give it a try. You died, I couldn't go back to the ship, and I just traveled around until I contracted The Reaper in Divo."
"No way, you've been alone for two years?" Kameo pressed his face against the glass.
Ace shrugged, "It was pretty eventful."

Cicada remained where she was. She didn't know what to do, she had never been caught before. She began to panic.

Joanna walked up to Leah. "Care for a scone, Cap?"

"Sweetheart, you're going to make it worse if you don't come out." Leah added on.

"That'd be nice." She picked one up and took a bite. "Save some for tonight. The crew wanted to 'celebrate.' "

"I have to get to work. See you later." Kameo nodded and waved goodbye, heading down to his lab. Ace managed a smile, waving back, but wishing that Kam could stay.

"K." Joanna set down the tray. "I can take care of these later."

"I-I can't," Cicada whispered. Her voice timid and weak from days without talking. Hey entire body felt like jelly because of how long she had been without food, it was probably pure adrenaline and will power that allowed her to get this far.

In a different circumstance, on a different day, Kameo probably would be crying. But with Ace's blood in his needle, Kameo got to work, trying to ignore the fact that Ace might die again, but for real this time.

"And, why not?" Leah called out, turning towards the voice.

"I," she took a shakey breath, "I don't have the strength to."

Ace sat on the floor of his quarantine and stared at the patches of rotten flesh on his skin, slowly enveloping his body. He could feel himself getting weaker, feel himself dying. He wanted to be saved, but what he really wanted………was a cheeseburger. Damn, was he hungry.

( What if they're related. . . just a thought. xD Cause Leah's a ginger too )
