Cicada stuck out her tongue and began to twirl her dagger around.

Ace wanted a cheeseburger. God, he wanted Kameo more. Wait, he didn't want to die the most.

Ace's probably going to die before he even meets her. Oh wait. I wasn't supposed to type that out loud yet. Oops.

"I will kill all of you right now." Jared said, brandishing a gun.

Leah ignored Jared's comment. She was always bluntly rude like that.

"What brought that on?" Cicada asked. She had grabbed her second dagger back from the captain, "I haven't done anything."

Kameo needed a break. It'd been hours. Coming upstairs and wishing he hadn't turned away medical help because his fifty or so bullet wounds were starting to get infected, Kameo waved at Ace.

"I'm not lying, poison is like souffle: Noise and it dies, just like you will."

"Okay fine," Cicada sat on the bed quietly. For a little bit.

"If you shoot her, Jared. . . I swear we'll leave you at the next sector." Leah said, giving Jared a pointed look.

"I'll shoot all of you. And also snog Cicada while she bleeds."

( Yeah, that sounds good. Then we'll just move on to the next ones)

"Wow," Cicada said, "Where did that come from Captain Ginger? And I do not partake in snogging miss rude lady."

"If you can't handle being in a room with people, Jared, I might have to ask you to leave." Leah called out, still focusing on the files. "Got it?"

Ace lit up, waving back. He pressed his nose against the glass and laughed.
"You done that fast Chameleon?"
Kameo sighed, "I'm sorry. I'm just taking a break."
"Don't be sorry. It's okay." Ace placed a hand onto the glass.
"It's not okay! You're dying! Again." he held back tears, "And I can't do anything about it. I wish I could just beat up your disease."
Ace grinned, "I doubt you would win."
"Like you would," Kameo snorted, flipping his hair away from his face.

"Jared Karis, never at anyone's service unless they pay me."

"And try to make me leave, I can kill the whole crew under a minute."

"Yeah, and I don't have a name," Cicada retorted.

Leah ignored Jared, sitting down at one of the chairs next to Lucian's desk, looking through the files until she found most of the crew's. She decided to start by reading hers.

"I'll shoot all of you. And also snog Cicada while she bleeds."

(All of you forget Cicada is nameless to the rest of the crew.)

"Touch any of this crew, Jared, and I will throw you off this goddamn boat myself." Leah said calmly, glancing up from her file.

"Shut up, Ace." he sighed and placed a hand where Ace's hand was pressed against the glass.

"For now." Leah said, flashing a bright grin and looking down at her file again.
