Lucian scoffed softly and shook his head. He went back over to where Daso sat and picked up a pill bottle. “Do you still want sedatives? This will hurt.”
"Nah, I'll pass," Daso replied. He was awful on sedatives or at all drunk. He was always weepy when under the influence, but today would probably be even worse.

As Joanna mixed in spices with meat, she decided to ask Nobody some more questions. "So, what were you doing in Sole?"
"Finding my brother. I searched my home town, Serra, then Divo, then Trieste, then Cielo. Figured it was time to go to Sole next."

Daso clenched his teeth but smiled. "Kinda stings."

Lucian eventually got the gash sewn up, and he wiped the blood from his hands. “Done, don’t too much on it. Your turn now, Cicada,” He said, muttering something after about needing to talk to Morrigan soon.
"Fine," Cicada sighed.
"Thanks, doc," Daso said absently, sliding from the cot and onto the floor. He began to walk out of the room, but paused at Leah's cot. Shaking his head, he continued out the door, back towards his cabin.

"A lot," Cicada responded, "You try fighting off a swarm of guards."

He finished cutting up the onions and placed the knife down on the table. "What next?"
"Well, some of the folk on here like peppers, tomatoes, and cheese on tacos. So, you could dice some tomatoes while I work on the peppers." She washed off a couple of tomatoes and handed them to Nobody.

Leah mumbled her brother's name in her sleep, but her eyes remained closed. She didn't look like her usual self. Her face was paler, making the freckles around her nose and her red hair stand out.
