Peggy bit her lip and lifted her hand to touch Vixian's.

"It's okay Peg. I'm here for you." Vixian said in a reassuring tone.

"Vix…" She wasn't sure how to phrase her question.

"Yes?" Vixian asked.

Peggy shook her head. "No. Nothing. Nevermind."

"Peggy, I know that's a lie." Vixian huffed.

"I said, nevermind, Vix," Peggy muttered.

"O..okay." Vixian was taken aback.

"so that's a definite yes that they dated, gotcha" raziel texted. He scanned through a few more pages just to make sure he didn't miss anything and headed back again to the cafe.

"I would say so but I'm unsure." Vixian replied.

"Vix, who are you texting?" Peggy asked her question again.

"Um…" Vixian looked at her phone. "Should I tell her."

"Vix!" Peggy exclaimed.

"Raziel…He's asking me questions, don't be mad, he just wants to protect you." Vixian sighed.

"remind me never to tell you a secret," raziel said to Vixiana as he walked up to the table, placing a file of papers in front of them. "This is all I found on our old friend Jack." A waitress started to walk over to them, to let them know the cafe was closing up but turned around once she saw the sharp glance Raziel gave her

Peggy froze when the file hit the table. Her eyes stared at it and couldn't be torn away.

"Listen man, I can't lie to my sister. She's my own blood!" Vixian scowled.

Peggy bit her lip so heavily, she tasted blood.

"Peggy, stop! I thought we broke that habit when you were in high school!" Vixian looked at her sister.

Peggy licked her lips absently.

Vixian walked over and hugged her sister. "Come on Peg, talk to us instead of that."

Peggy recoiled slightly at first, then gave in to the embrace.

"Oh sorry, I should have asked." Vixian said, awkwardly.

"N-No, it's fine," she whispered.

"Okay." Vixian continued to embrace her sister.

Peggy closed her eyes and sighed.
