The fish grew three times in size to show their authority and Quince sighed, "Oh please don't eat them, little one! They're very poisonous you know!" He smiled.

*Oh yes, yes, to eat us would be a severe tragedy! You'd die, we'd die and our owners would be absolutely devasted! You wouldn't want to do something like that now would you?" Downpour ranted getting close to the fox.

Nevermind that! What might your name be, my dear? Tsunami questioned pushing Downpour aside.

"you I would be happy to eat." Makatza said to Downpour. She turned to Tsunami "I am known as Makatza. It means untamed or wild. My wizard sometimes calls me Kat." she smiled, her canines showing.

Nice to meet you Makatza Tsunami exclaimed giving a small bow of her head, Downpour did the same though he looked annoyed.

Quince bent down after putting his book in his satchel and held his arms out to Makatza, "Can I pick you up, Kat? Where might your owner be?" He gave a quick glance around.

Marcus just nodded, gently putting his hand where he was asked, the other idly stroking Xolo while the snake began leaning towards the bubble, trying to see whether or not it was lickable

Kat nodded her head and walked closer to Quince. "my wizard is—" she was cut off by a messy haired wizard approaching the small group.

"Makatza where did you disappear to?" He exclaimed, not noticing she was in someone else's arms.

This must be the owner! Tsunami called as she and Downpour circled the man.

Yes. yes, I bet you two have an extremely strong bond! Downpour exclaimed.

"Hello! This must be your fox, correct?" Quince asked. standing up.

Kaius flinched when he heard another voice and looked up to see a young Male infront of him. He took a step back and nodded "yes, this is Makatza, my devil of a familiar." He growled in her direction. The fox grinned "you love me."

The bond is strong! So very strong! The love for one another is deep! Downpour cooed making vigorous circles around the man.

Tsunami gave a light happy sigh, Very strong indeed!

Quince laughed, "Sorry about these two, they're always like this. Anyways I'm Quince, what's your name?" Quince outstretched his hand to the man and put Makatza down gently.

Don't apologize for us! We did nothing wrong! Downpour protested.

"Kaius, but friends call me Kai. Are these your familiars?" He asked

"Yup! Nice to meet you Kai!" Quince smiled, "This is Downpour and Tsunami." He pointed to the fish who were talking to each other.

"Interesting. They are beautiful. Although this one has an attitude. Kat was probably arguing with him." He said, letting a small smile escape.
'Human, you doubt me.' makatza said with a mock wounded look on her face

Quince laughed and stroked Downpour's head, "Yeah he tends to argue and fantasize a bit too much."

How rude! Downpour spluttered, I was just stating the truth and nothing less than it!

Tsunami just shook her head and sighed, "Calm down Downpour*

Marcus smiled a little at that. "It's alright, I don't mind it. Though I do think I know why my magic offput your readings as much as they did, if you want to hear it," he said, shrugging a little while Xolo occupied himself trying to nibble on the bubble

'a truth that I would happily test out' kat said, staring at the fish.

"Kat! Dint be mean!" Kai said

(Idk if I mentoned but Kat is a little bigger than a husky.)

Downpour hid behind Quince and grumbled about how rude the fox was, Quince looked embarrassed,

Don't worry Tsunami said to Downpour, I'm sure you two will get along soon!

'he's being mean.' she whined, flattening her ears and looking up. Kai smiled and scratched her "fine, can you shrink and come into my shoulders?" He asked. Makatza nodded and closed her eye. Her body start shrinking until she was the size of a fairy.

"Oh! How cute! They can shrink and grow too! Watch!" Both the fish changed sizes, Tsunami to the size of bluegill and Downpour grew to the size of a large horse.

Now, this isn't our biggest size, we can get to the size of a large male elephant! Downpour said excitedly while Tsunami nodded.

"I, um…I'm a werewolf, actually. Not the normal kind, either, which is why those readings were so high, I think," Marcus admitted, looking down at his hands as Xolo slithered down to wrap around his arms soothingly

"Oh! How cute! They can shrink and grow too! Watch!" Both the fish changed sizes, Tsunami to the size of bluegill and Downpour grew to the size of a large horse.

Now, this isn't our biggest size, we can get to the size of a large male elephant! Downpour said excitedly while Tsunami nodded.

"How nice, that must be comfortable." He laughed

Makatza smiled and looked at them. 'I can only grow and shrink a certain amount of times before I have to recharge. In can do it about 75 times a day. This is because a certain someone manages to lose everything.'

Ah, yes our different sizes take up different amounts of energy. Her form takes less than mine obviously because she's smaller. Downpour nodded.

Quince looked at his watch, "Oops, gotta go! Nice meeting you!"

"Where are you going?" Kai asked, then flinched

"I have to go to my shift at the Magic Cafe! I'm a barista and waiter there." Quince replied.

"N-No, no, that's perfectly alright," Marcus answered, feeling an odd sort of…pride mix with his anxiousness. No one had ever been fascinated with his being a werewolf before, not like this. It made him feel…valuable in a strange sort of way. A very small smile even quirked at his lip, and he stroked Xolo with a soft smile

"I have to go to my shift at the Magic Cafe! I'm a barista and waiter there." Quince replied.

"Oh, mind if I tag along? I can read there." He said. a little needy aren't you. a voice spoke in his mind. Kai glared at his miniature familiar

"Oh, sure! Some company would be great!" Quince said cheerfully
