Quince glanced back with surprise, then jumped up so his fish could slip under his feet and grow bigger, "Yeah let's go!"

Kai glanced back and grinned "seems like I'll win!" He responded

Quince sighed, then muttered an incantation, one of the few he knew, in seconds he was ahead again and at the door. He had used a speed incantation to speed up Downpour and Tsunami. "You sure?" He grinned, playfully.
"Oh it's on!" Kai said, muttering a spell and making the distance to the building longer "foxes are really fast because they are lightweight!"

Quince frowned, confused by the spell, "How…uh…what?"
“Actually, that reminds me! Do you know of any good resources on soul alterations? Like, separating the soul from a body, morphing and switching souls, and so on and so forth?” Chelsea asked. “I’m certain there’s a connection between it and body shifting, but I need more information to iron out my thesis.” She said, shuffling back and forth.
“Desperate~” Flip said in a sing-song voice.
Marcus went to answer, but his eyes went wide at Flip's commentary. He flushed with embarrassment before nodding, leading the way to a small library off to the side on such magics. Xolo stuck his tongue out before leaning towards Flip, using Marcus' shoulder as an anchor in yet another attempt to lick him
Chelsea blushed intently. “I’m so sorry about Flip! He can be a real jerk,” she said, giving Flip the stink eye. “Thank you so much for putting up with me by the way, because I know I’m annoying to most people.” Flip settled himself down on Xolo’s head, sighing contently.
Xolo looked back and forth, tongue flicking out as he seemed to be unable to find where Flip had gone. His feathers poofed up a little, and Marcus chuckled as he stroked him. "It's fine," he chuckled
