"Not for me… Maybe for you," Josh laughed.

"W-What does it do? Am I gonna die?!"

Josh nodded, "Yup you'll be gone by morning. I'll say nice things at your funeral." He said sarcastically taking another sip.

Maddox dropped the bottle, his eyes wide with fear. He seemed not to pick up the sarcasm and drew his knees up to his chest, starting to panic.

(BRO YOU DON'T JUST TELL A CHILD HE'S LITERALLY GONNA DIE BC OF SOMETHING YOU GAVE HIM lmao)

Josh caught the bottle before it hit the ground, "Mad, I'm kidding, you won't die."

(I WOULDN"T HAVE GIVEN IT TO HIM IF IT WOULD KILL HIM! Lol)

Maddox looked up at Josh, tears pooling in his eyes. "Y-You're sure? My head's buzzing a lot… is… i-is that bad?"

"Yeah man, I'm sure. You might get drunk though but that's fun."

"Fun? Y-You have a pretty strange idea of fun…" He wiped away the tears, hiding his face in his arms.

"I'm sorry, I was just messing around." Josh was still laughing.

(Maddox: It's not funnyyyyy D':)

(Josh: Dies of laughter)

"What's… w-what's gonna happen to me?"

"Your head'll feel little funny but it'll be a good feeling. The real kicker is gonna be tomorrow so try to enjoy now."

Maddox seemed skeptical, but there really wasn't much he could do about it for the time being. "I feel… I feel weird… everything's all…. tingly."

"Yup! And tomorrow it'll feel like hell so enjoy it now." Josh smiled chugging the rest of his beer.

"How do you do this all the time?!" Maddox got up and started pacing anxiously, temporarily able to ignore his general weakness.

"You build up a tolerance." Josh quirked an eyebrow, "You're not a fun drunk… You're an anxious drunk."

"I'm an anxious… I don't know! I'm always anxious! I have anxiety! You know this!" Suddenly, Maddox fell to the ground. He could feel the weakness again, and his legs returned to jelly.

Josh laughed, "You okay?"

Maddox groaned, not bothering to try and get up. He felt pretty nauseas, but was fairly sure he wouldn't throw up. At least, not then. (He's sick from the blood thing, right?)

Josh formed a fireball in his hand and threw it up and down in his hands, "The hangover part doesn't usually kick in until tomorrow you complainer."

"I… I think I'm gonna be sick!" Maddox got up and ran to the bathroom to throw up. Blood?! Oh god… he was right! I am dying!

Josh diminished the fireball and with a puff of smoke it was gone, "Are you okay in there?"

"Oh god… no, no, no, no, no… Josh!! You were right! I-I think I'm dying!"

Josh stood up and shimmered to the bathroom, walking would have taken to long… he saw the blood, "Dang it!"

Maddox coughed up more blood, tears coming to his eyes. "I don't wanna die!"

"You're not going to die," Josh looked at him worryingly, "It's a bad reaction from my blood. My venom is only poisonous to angels and vampires and sometimes by blood can make you sick," Josh reassured, "Very sick," He said under his breath.
