Tobias manipulated time, speeding up the man's performance while everything else stayed the same. He and Amduscias sighed.

Zackary yawned slowly, still surveying Tobias through narrowed gray eyes.

"This place is pretty damn boring tonight." Tobias exclaimed, finishing his bottle in back to back shots.

Zackary took the empty bottle and tossed it into the recycling bin underneath the bar.
"It's a good thing, isn't it? I think it is." His thick New-Yorker accent betrayed slight boredom.

"I guess some people like quiet, don't they." Tobias said, noticing the dry tinge in the bartender's voice.

Zackary set the book down. "Sure they do." He sighed. "Want another bottle, oh dear princess?"

"No thanks, oh dear servicemaid." Tobias quipped teasingly.

Zackary gave a humorless chuckle. "Alright, so what now, you pampered posy?" That question was hella funny coming from someone with a New York accent.

"How about you kneel before my eminence." Tobias teased, looking out the door.

Zackary rolled his eyes. "Ahh yes, and kiss the ground upon which you trod."

"I wouldn't ask that much, darling." The vessel again teased.

Zackary waved a hand and lifted his book back up. "I'll be ready when you do."

"What if I asked now." Tobias called, getting up.

"Hmmm?" Zackary looked up from his book.

"You heard me…" Tobias took out a comb, running it through his blue hair.
