First off, Hi!
I’m not sure how this one is gonna go but I’m just dying to use one of my characters I’ve kept silent since… who knows lol.

«Introduction»

The gates of the afterlife opened up to you as you stared in shock.

It isn’t right… you argued with fate, pleading internally for them to let you go as the first court of the afterworld looks down on you.

His name is unknown but he seems to take pity on you.

He gives you an offer, one of which you can become human again.

There have been a declining amount of good spirits and ghosts which roam the human world meaning the sinful ones take over and starts to corrupt the world bits by bits.

The judge stated this…
”I will transfer the soul of a spirit of the myths of your choice into your body. You will wield the magic of that specific spirit though some of it you will have to learn yourself. Your job is to make the humans’ lives more… peaceful. Once you’ve satisfied us, the ten courts, we will give you the chance to be reborn again as a human…“

Without second thought… you agreed to the offer as the spirit transferring process begins.

«Situation»

You will begin by being given the spirit of the mythical creature which have magic or inhuman abilities.

You will then be escorted to an abandoned but clean Chinese/Japanese castle to ‘live’ when you’re not at work. (Everyone will be in the same castle just in different rooms)

Your work timetable depends on which mythical creature you choose to be given the spirit of (though of course, I won’t be too harsh on any of you)

1. Curse words are allowed but please use them only when necessary or appropriate
2. LGBTQ+ is allowed and no NSFW stuff (kissing, hand-holding, smooches and such are allowed, you should know the limits)
3. Please be considerate towards other people’s characters. They’re theirs, not yours, so controlling them is not ideal and not allowed.
4. Please try to be online whenever you can, once or more per day would be ideal
5. No god modding please
6. Keep your reply somewhat grammatically correct and open ended so it would be easier for the next person to reply (we all make mistakes, I understand that fully)

Name: Yumeka Kaito (夢叶 快斗)

Spirit: Baku (Dream Eater)

When he opens his mouth, he is able to swallow people’s bad thoughts and nightmares to give them a clearer and happier mind. Taking in too much ‘blackened thoughts’ would result in him fainting similar to a food coma.

In case of danger, he is ‘theoretically’ able to make someone faint by draining out their thoughts. Though this does take up a lot of his energy.

Favorite Foods&Drinks: Takoyaki, Sakura Mochi, Lemon Tea

Appearance + Usual Clothing (after soul transfer): 5’11” and a balanced structure. He has shoulder-length, natural black silky hair of which ends have turned white due to time. He has the word ‘Yume (夢)’ which means ‘Dream’ imprinted in blue on his left cheek. He has cruel, heterochromia eyes; his left is blue, his right is ghost white. His skin is pale and cold except for his hands which are warm and pleasant to the touch. He wears a gray yukata that has white roses as patterns down its ends and white lapels. He has a long bandage which he ties around his lower face, covering the entirety of his mouth at almost all times. And most importantly, wooden sandals.

Brief Personality: Despite his somewhat scary looks, Kaito is a cheerful man whose wish is to bring people happiness. He’s a bit too active than his job requires yet it’s great for his job that he is that active. He doesn’t know his own limits and is willing to risk anything of his own if it makes someone happy.

Other (not needed): Kaito is a foodie and a talented man in the kitchen. He also tends to faint a lot. He’s also a little sneaky, stealing small things from other people whenever he gets the chance.

(It was just my school’s. I was just chosen as the representative of my English literature club. It was hella fun actually)

(If you wanna do a Shinigami, you might have to find a way that the spirit will be helpful more than harmful. Perhaps being the one who brings death to bad spirits or criminals, something like that could work)

(Absolutely, with me, the limits are your imagination… at a respectable level that is, just kidding, it’s fine until I tell you it’s not :P)
