The boy gently patted the cat on its head a few times before allowing it to rest on his lap - he'd almost forgotten how nice it felt to have a warm cat snoozing on him.
"As of now, i do not wish to place more suspicion on certain people, but rather on everyone. The ninth judge would logically seem the most suspect, given his behavior, but he could very well be innocent - even so, i don't think i could trust him even if he was proven innocent."
Violent or short tempered people were almost always bad news, and Ryuusei happened to have a lot of unpleasant history with these types, so he would not be trusting the ninth judge anytime soon.
"There's too many people that are unaccounted for and we barely know a small number, but none so well we could be sure they would not do such a thing. So far, i wouldn't trust anyone, not even the more friendlier judges; i feel bad for saying it, but no precaution is too great"
