Amon waved him away. "Want a cigar?"

"No thank you, I don't smoke," He said, leaning against the counter.

"Alright." He lit it and put it in his mouth.

Razin dried up the plates that Amon washed, putting them to the side after.

"What'd you do this time?" Amon suddenly asked and turned towards Razin.

"I'm not really sure," He admits, "But I think it had something to do with me be a very stupid teenager, if you know what I mean."

"Well, what did you say?"

"Well, I apologised and said that it was all in the past but then I agreed I was stupid and now she's mad again."

"Well, what did you say specifically?"

"She said, 'You were so stupid! You know what you could've gotten!' and I replied 'I was stupid, so stupid'. You know, agreeing with her."

"Why were you stupid?"

"Because I was a hormonal teenager," He said slowly, not quite understanding the question.

"And what was wrong with that?"

"I don't know. I don't know what to say to her," He runs a hand through his hair.

"What started her rage?"

"Well, we started talking about he old friends from high school and how they used to sleep around a lot, then it turned to who I had slept with," He said, realising what might have caused it, "And I said I didn't remember."

"Hmm. She's jealous." He grinned. "Be careful what you say."

"Oh shoot," He finally understands, "I've gotta prove that she's the only one Iove," His brain thinking through ideas to do so.

"Yeah, pal. Well, good luck!" He patted him on the back and walked into the dining room.

"Thanks," He said, not sure exactly how to go about doing this. He pondered it a bit before going back into the dining room.

Lil and her father had gone into the sitting room, and Azele was cleaning the table.

"Do you need any help?" He asks, stepping forward to assist.

"No, I'm just finishing up." She grinned at him.

"I'll just go on through then," He said, walking into the sitting room.

"Okay."
Lil was still looking through the book, and her father was looking through the TV channels while puffing his cigar.

Razin takes a seat next to Lil, not sure whether to talk now or later, in private.

She didn't look up at him, she just continued reading.

He bit his lip, watching the TV channels flash by when he decided he better do it now rather than later. "Lil, I love you. You know that, right?"

She grunted quietly.

"Is that a yes?" He asked, laying his head on her shoulder, "'Cause if it's not then I clearly have been doing something wrong."
