"Oh my gosh," He stepped closer and took a hold of her hands,"That's amazing news!"

"I-it is?" Lil was shocked. This wasn't what I was expecting…

"Yeah, do- do you not think it is?" He asked, smile faltering for a moment.

"I just expected you to be… mad, or something…"

"Why would I be? We now have our first soldier in our empire," He said, placing one of his hands gently on her belly.

Lil smiled. "You're still pursuing that stupid dream… I totally forgot…"

"Of course, trust me, one day we'll be on top of the world." He said confidently,

Lil rolled her eyes. "I don't think I'll be able to bear that many children in a lifetime, dear."

"We can adopt," He pointed out.

"Sure we could, but our bank account would perish."

"That's a good point. Well, I guess we'll just have to raise this child to be the best assassin in the world and have them spy on everyone," He said as if this was the easiest thing in the world.

"But we might spoil them too much and they'll be really rebellious and ridiculously emo in their teen years."

"God I can't deal with an emo teen. Plus if they end up being your average protagonist in an action movie then their parents would be dead, that doesn't bode well for us."

"No, it doesn't. So we'll have to raise them differently from us and from an edgy teen."

"Yes, we will. We should also give them a badass name."

"No, we'll have to give them a normal name because we always got shit because of our names."

"Fine," He grumbled, "Anyway, how long have you know?"

Lil chortled at his expression. "I just found out a couple weeks ago. I told my parents yesterday."

"Why didn't you tell me when you found out?"

"B-because I wasn't very sure how you'd react…" She turned a faint red.

"I made a vow to stay by your side through thick and thin and I don't intend to break that ever," He said, pulling her in for a hug.

She hugged her back. "That seems to mean so little to humans."

"Humans are strange and stupid creatures," He quietly said.

"Yes, they are." Lil leaned her head into him and sighed.

"Was this the thing I had to guess then?" He asked, seeing how obvious it was now.

"Yeah… But I thought it was stupid to hide it from you for any longer."

"It all makes sense now," He sighed at his own stupidity.

"It's okay. You reacted better than I thought you would…"

"No problemo," He said, moving away and finger gunning her.

Lil smiled. "You… can go nap now. Sorry I interrupted."
