Yve hears the crash but doesn’t even turn. He is more so looking for other vampires, he senses them but won’t actively look, moreso just walking around, looking suspicious.

((Who else is online?))

@ElderGod-Carrots

(Me but idk what to write…)

((Maybe your character could be in the house that Ianthe's just entered and they could help each other.))

@ElderGod-Carrots

(Uh… sure)
Hemdez frowned. Nothing. There was nothing in this old building worth looting. He growled at nothing and no one as he searched the house one last time for anything of use, any weapon apart from the one old dagger a his side.

Ianthe crept through the building, trying to be as quiet as possible as she walked towards the room where Hemdez was.

Yve knocks on the door of that building too, with his cane.
“There are vampires out here.” He says calmly. “I know there are humans in here.” He says. He uses his cane to hit the door again.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Eventually, Hemdez rounded a corner and ran into Ianthe and stumbled a little, “Crap, I’m so sorry…” He said to her, taking a few steps backwards once he had regained his footing.

((Please expand on that response.))

@ElderGod-Carrots

(Uh… why? I mean I did a lil but but…)

(You made no address o every detail of the previous responses involving the setting of your character. 1 my cgaracter just knocked on the door of the building that your character is in, 2 you used very little descriptive language,… please listen.

Ianthe smiled at him but stopped when she heard Yve. She ran back towards the window she entered through, waving at Hemdez to follow her.

@ElderGod-Carrots

(Yeah, sorry…)

Hemdez hadn’t heard Yve at first but when he did and saw that Ianthe wanted him to follow, he complied. Signing, he ran to the window with a slight grumble since he didn’t know this girl and she could get him killed, but followed.

Ianthe ducks her head out the window, scanning the ground below and the surrounding buildings to see if it's safe. After a few moments, she nods and climbs out the window.

@ElderGod-Carrots

With another sigh, and his own assessment of the ground below, he climbed out the window shortly after, dropping to the ground without so much as a noise. A practised skill even though stealth wasn’t one of his strong points.

Ianthe glanced left and right, then darted to a nearby building and hid behind the corner, motioning for Hemdez to follow.

(may i be a vampire?)

((Of course! Just post your character profile, and make sure you've read the rules and what's happened so far.))

@ElderGod-Carrots

Against his better judgement, Hemdez followed. He glanced left and right before he followed, hiding next to Ianthe, "I'm Hemdez by the way, and you might be?"

Ianthe takes out her notebook, scribbling for a moment before showing the page to Hemdez. It reads: My name is Ianthe. You say it like ee-AN-thee :)

@ElderGod-Carrots

Hemdez nodded, "Nice to meet you, Ianthe." He whispered, peaking his head around the corner to see if anyone was there or had seen them go around the corner.

Iantheputs her notebook and pencil away then takes out her staff again and presses the rune to extend it, glancing around at the other buildings

@ElderGod-Carrots

Hemdez frowned, "What are you doing?" He hissed, taking another worried glance around the corner before back to Ianthe.

She holds the staff under her arm and writes: I don't want anyone to attack me while I'm unprepared. We don't know where any of the other players are, especially not the vamps.

@ElderGod-Carrots

"Right yeah… it doesn't look like anyone is coming." Hemdez muttered as he looked around the corner again. He hoped whatever Ianthe was doing would help.

Sosdovah had settled down in the shadows, waiting silently, patiently. His yellow eyes shifted as he listened intently to the world around him. His lips twitched slightly, fangs poking through. Hm, it seemed the prey was taking longer than usual, that or no one has flushed them out yet. No matter, the male would remain in place, awaiting for the time to make his move.
As he laid, a rather strange individual with a cane was walking down the back. Instinctively, Sos drew further back into the shadows, blending in perfectly. His forked tongue slipped past his lips, testing the air. At the scent and taste, he instantly released a soft growl under his breath. Great, there was the first vampire, so nonchalantly walking the streets in plain sight. Sos didn't quite understand the guy's choice of approach, nor did he really care. In the dracopyre's mind, this vamp was just going to make it a lot easier to get the prey out and running, that or make it harder.
See, the other possible outcome of this vamp knocking on door's is make the humans hole themselves up…though eventually they'd have to go out and search for food…
The dracopyres could be quite destructive, and hard on the arena. It wouldn't be the first time several buildings were destroyed due to an overexcited dracopyre who had no patience to wait for the human to get out of the house. So, Sosdovah was trying to keep from destroying the place…unless absolutely necessary. If he was focused on a single human, then it was a probability of building destruction. Which, he'd honestly find amusement in doing.
As of now, however, Sosdovah's attention was not on any vampires, but the prey, humans. Though that could drastically change, should another vampire come between him and his prey.

Ianthe looked around the corner, scoping out the area, before writing in her notebook again.

I think we only really have a few options at this point. 1) We stick together and find somewhere to shelter and set up a sort of base. or 2) We try to find the other humans here and team up with them. 3) Something else? I'm not really sure.

@ElderGod-Carrots

"As much as I'm not a people person, staying together seems like a good idea. Finding other people might be hard and we might get caught… Can you fight?" Hemdez looked back at Ianthe, fiddling with the old dagger at his side.

Ianthe grinned then wrote: Yeah. I'm not great at hand-to-hand combat, but I have a few tricks up my sleeve :)

Yve has been walking around the town for a little while now before deciding on taking seat in a small shaded pavilion. He rests his head on his hands and sighs loudly.
“This is horribly boring.” He mumbles. His ears perk up at a slight shuffle, but not at the voices he hears of the new human, Hemdez. He frowns.
“There is another vampire.” He whispers. Although he has miserable eyesight he can smell and hear another person. He taps his cane on the ground and sighs.
“I smell. A snake.” He laughs. “Or some other reptile filth.” His eyes pass over the shadowed dragonpyre but he does not see Sosdovah.
