Sym is still at the lake if anyone wants to interact with him//

"I am Kailani. I am your ally. Or at least I hope so… I do not desire more enemies." She said, clasping her hands behind her back. It was imperative to show no fear, especially not informant of other humans, they could take that as a sign of weakness and take advantage of you.

Ianthe peeked out from behind Hemdez and waved at her, smiling.

Hemdez grown a little but nodded, “I’m Hemdez and this is Ianthe. As long as you don’t try to kill us then yes, I’d consider you an ally.”

Yve is still in the street. He laughs at the Dragonpyre, muttering under his breath and then turning to the buildings. He uses his good hearing, following the soft discussion. He makes clicking sounds with his steel bottom shoes as he walks. His cane also taps on the floor too. He turns a corner, standing behind Kailani, but facing Hemdez and Ianthe. He says nothing and does not consider attacking them.

Ianthe raises her staff, glaring at Yve as rune tattoos appear on her arms. She's scared, but trying to hide it.

"I have no intentions to-" She paused, hearing the clicking sounds of someone approaching. They stopped behind her and by the glare in Ianthe's eyes, it wasn't a friend. She fought the urge to grab her dagger. Everything needed to be accounted for before she pulled a weapon… but yet again, every second she hesitated could me certain death. She acted with speed, kicking her leg out and clipping whoever was behind her. The motion was face, she barely caught of glimpse of the person before she was up on both feet and backing away. She braced her feet and dropped into a fight crouch, only then, drawing her daggers.

Hemdez glared at Yve and growled a little, continuing to shield Ianthe with his body, “If you’re going to attack us just do it already.”

Yve fell over, landing with a thud.
“Christ’s sake.” He snaps, using his cane to help himself up. “I don’t need another hip replacement.” He snaps, brushing off his suit. He glares at her.
“I wasn’t going to kill you but now…” he stares at her, looking murderous. There is dirt on his suit still.

Ianthe started to back away, tugging on Hemdez's sleeve to get him to follow.

Sym made his way towards a building, sensing a few human presences there. Whom is it? He wonders, creeping up silently towards the humans and another vamp?

Kailani narrowed her eyes. "Well what did you expect when you look like a vampire, sound like a vampire, and sneak up on humans who desire to preserve their lives, Soul-Taker?" she retorts, her eyes just as menacing. She would not trust this one. "It did not seem to me like you had good intentions…"

“I walk like a vampire because I am a vampire, I sound like one because I am one.” He says. “But I’m mostly harmless.” He snaps, robotic sounds clicking while he bends his hurt leg. He keeps glaring and raises his cane. The pointed blade in it pops out but he doesn’t fight her.

Ianthe stopped backing away and lowered her staff. She took out her notebook and wrote: How do we know we can trust him? She tore out the page and passed it to Hemdez.

Kailani leveled her gaze with his, staring him down though she wanted nothing more than to turn and run. She would not cower in front of a handicapped vampire. She stood her ground.

The vampire frowned and put his cane down.
“I’m not going to fight a woman.” He says, frowning darkly at her. “It’s unfair.” He takes a step or two back, narrowing his eyes.

Kailani tried not the insult effect her so but she found it hard to lower her weapons when she wanted so desperately to plunge them into his chest. She did nonetheless, sheathing them once more. Relaxing, if only slightly, she stood straight, crossing her arms over her chest.

“Why so sour, did you really want to kill me.” He says. He smiles a little “it wasn’t an insult.” He says, tapping his cane on the ground. He looks down at his shoes and bends to wipe some dust off them.

Ianthe stopped backing away and lowered her staff. She took out her notebook and wrote: How do we know we can trust him? She tore out the page and passed it to Hemdez.

”We don’t know…” Hemdez muttered to Ianthe.

((A note to everyone: Ianthe's notebook has lots of her previous conversations written in it, including stuff about her past that she explained to her friend Caleb. If someone were to read or steal the notebook, that would be discovered.

She rolled her eyes, giving no response. Instead she asked a question. "Why are apart of the game, yet…not participating? I don't think your brethren or sisters would find this-" she gestured between them. "- productive to their cause…"
