Ianthe jumps back, dropping her notebook as she does so.

((Sorry it's not much I'm trying to multitask))

@gracehustle

Fiona continued to sit in the tree and whittle, she had finished her first arrow and was starting her second, counting down the minutes until she could get out of here as she did.

He grabs his cane and heaves himself up again, balancing on his leg.
“Pardon me, I think I am going to go and cry in shame.” He complains, limping back towards the town, making the air warm around him.

Ianthe picks up the notebook and follows a little way behind him. She writes I could help you with your leg if you like on a piece of paper, then gives it to him.

“It’s alright, it’s just seized up. I don’t usually walk a lot.” He says, sighing. He pauses to lean against a tree and his cane, looking bothered. This isn’t his usual environment, it’s clear.

She flips back to the fixing runes page, and walks over to him, holding up the page. This could help if you want, she writes.

He shakes his head. “No thank you.” He whispers, frowning. He leans on his cane and stretches his real leg.
“It’ll be okay, it will calm down soon.” He says. “I’m going to go into down and look around some more.” He says, sighing.

Ianthe nods, and walks back towards the town, keeping to the shadows. After a few minutes, she sees Kailani and smiles, walking over to her.

Ianthe Kailani gives a breath of relief and returns the smile. She sets close to the girl and asks, "Can I see your notebook? Or just give me a page and something to write with. " Her eyes reverted back to their yellowish green.

Fiona sighed and decided to go out anyway, whether it was safe or not. She jumped down from the tree and started walking deeper into the forest, her bow drawn and ready to shoot at anything that moved.

Ianthe tears out a page and hands it to Kailani, along with a pen.

Kailani smiled in thanks and scribbles a quick note.
I will not say this aloud. Something is watching me….well watching us. Beware what you see and stay alert.
She handed it to Ianthe and returned the pen. "I saw some good supplies not too far, in a store down that way." she pointed to the left.

Ianthe reads the note and nods, trying to act calm. She clenches her fists in an attempt to stop her hands shaking. She nods again and starts to walk to the left.

Kailani gave a sympathetic look and followed after her. It filled her with dread to really think of the whole situation. Two days, life and death…

A little way away from the store, Ianthe stops and writes in her notebook. There might be people here, so we should be careful.

Sosdovah remained silent as the girl clearly stated that she knew he was around. Instead of the hiss, it turned into a menacing chuckle. His gaze shifted, remaining in the shadows.
"So, the prey speaks, oh this makes it so much better."
The dracopyre's eyes shifted as he noticed a second girl suddenly appear. Hm, this was working better than he thought. His patience was indeed rewarding, having set upon him 2 young females to play with. He grew silent, though his yellow eyes suddenly appeared in the shadows, swirling to bright red, then returning back to their yellow. Black pupils were narrowed into thin slits that were nearly lost in the vast glow of his eyes.
"And would you look at that, the prey flocks together, granted, it gives you a slight advantage…but not much. Hardly a true challenge."
Finally, did the male emerge from the darkness. Sosdovah's lips curled back showing sharp fangs. The horns atop his head glimmering in the dim light. His forked tongue slipped past his lips, testing the air. For a moment, his skin seemingly rippled, becoming scales, but then returning back to normal. The smile he held was far from being friendly. His gaze was hungry, for the predator had finally set its eyes on the prey, and it was not just about to give it up so easily.
"Though a couple of young things like you having strayed too far from the flock, such a pity no one will weep over your deaths."

Ianthe took out her staff and walked carefully towards the entrance of the store, heart pounding.

@ElderGod-Carrots

(Sorry, I think I'm gonna have to drop this since it's moving too fast for me… sorry)

((All good my dude. Do what's best for you :D ))

@gracehustle

Fiona continued to walk through the woods, she circled back when she reached the end and started walking towards where she had seen Yve earlier.

Kailani drew her daggers and changed her sight. It was better to see the darkness, especially at the new revelation. They were being hunted, she knew that much. She wasn't going to die. Not yet at least. She entered behind Ianthe, covering her back. Then, once they enter, she moves towards a basket she had started to prepare. She handed it to Ianthe. "We have to find somewhere to stay for the night, that is the most dangerous time to be out."

Ianthe nods and walks over to a shelf to get some supplies. An eye-shaped rune on the back of her neck fades in, which she hopes will keep her from being attacked suddenly from behind. As the rune only warns her when people are about a metre or two away, it probably won't make much of a difference.

@gracehustle

Fiona continued to walk through the woods, towards the edge of the woods. She could see a few houses and a small through the trees so she stopped where she was and just waited for someone or something to come towards her.

Yve walks into town also, leaning on his cane and grumbling about his leg. He sits down in a bench and looks around, perking up his hearing and sense of smell completely.
“Someone’s here.” He grumbles. He sits up again and leaves himself up, looking for whom he guesses to be another vampire. Instead, he finds an angry dyagonpyre stalking two humans. He sighs And follows them, from a distance.

(just want to know - how do people tell the difference between a human and a vampire?)

((Vampires have fangs, often have red eyes or pale skin, and bite marks on their neck (if they haven't covered them up). Hope this helps! If you guys have any more questions surrounding the lore of The Hunt, feel free to ask!))

(is it too op if aisha is able to shift her form to hide these? just wanted to ask before using the idea of disguising herself as a human and backstabbing everyone)
