Ariema gulped. "There's…no need to panic." She reassured, not believing it herself. "We are warriors, and perfectly capable of fighting off these humans. We've survived for this long, we can survive longer."

( Wait, whats going on??)

"ATLANTIS FOREVER!!" A woman in the crowd shouted. Others joined her, shouting. Lazuli too.

Ariema grinned. "That's right. We're the people of Atlantis, and we will fight for our kingdom!"

The crowd shouted exclamations of agreement.

"Thank you all. I recommend preparing for battle." Ariema nodded to the crowd before swishing her dress and returning to the castle.

Lazuli sprinted back to her house. She climbed up and began searching for her armor before realizing that, in her excitement, she had forgotten that her 'official' Atlantian armor hadn't been finished.

Ariema sighed, making her way back to her room. She shut the door behind her and changed into something less formal. She slipped on a pale blue dress with a dark blue and gold waistband, keeping her necklace on and taking off her shoes so it was easier to get around. She tied up her long thick hair into a ponytail. Ariema smiled at her reflection before exiting the castle, insisting that the guards don't follow her.

@rot-baby-rot!

Vilmaris walked along the edge of the water-wall after the princess's speech. She didn't have guard duty today, this was her day off. She gazed at the life in the wald waters, the same ones that had taken her father's life years ago.

Ariema ran down the streets, feeling very free and happy in the open air. She made her way to a tall tree towards the top of one of the highest hills in Atlantis. She had climbed the tree a lot when she was little, but it had been a while since she explored the branches.

Zoe didn't suspect anything. For her it was just another boring day. She plopped down at the edge of the pier, wondering what her life could of been.)

@santanna

(i wont be on for a while.)

@Natasha

(Hey how do I throw Raya into this?)

group
@PuffPoff

(is your character human or Atlantian?)

@Natasha

(She is an Atlantian guard)

group
@PuffPoff

(She could try to follow Ariema or go check on the citizens? Atlantian guards are more like citizens than usual castle guards.)

@santanna

(i have an idea of how the humans meet; I post a notice for 'Atlantis study group' just for fun, and then people join and convince the school to fund their journey. idk just an idea.)

@Natasha

Raya decided to follow the princess. She had a sneaking suspicion that something might go wrong.

(ooh that would be cool!)

@santanna

(yayyyy, i'll write the beginning.)

Ariema ran up to the tree, smiling as she craned her head to see the top. She reached for one of the lowest branches and began gracefully climbing, her movements quite like those of a monkey back on land.

Laura inhaled deeply. Months of trying to get the school board's approval had paid off.
"Big words, big results." Her father used to say.
Maybe this will be the way I find some friends. She chewed her lip nervously and considered not pinning up the sheet. Don't be a coward. She told herself. You can do this.
With a deep breath, Laura stapled the sign-up sheet to the bulletin board.
'Atlantis study group; fact or fiction?'

Carmen curiously walked over to where someone was stapling a sign up sheet on the school's bulletin board. Usually, she found it fun to see what other activities there were, but she was never interested in any of them. Until she read Atlantis.
That place had confused Carmen for years, and she had always wanted to learn more about it. Was it really real? Could somebody possibly have seen it before?
Eagerly walking up to the girl, she introduced herself. "Hey there, I'm Carmen. So you like Atlantis, huh?"
