"Can I borrow your business calc, Yesim?" Brooke asked, sitting in her office with Yesim, who was on her break. "I lost mine, I'll have to buy a new one." She sighed.
(Yesim can bring up the ded bodies like 'hey brooke there's dead bodies on the turnoff' or something)
(srry about not responding sooner)
Yesim glanced at Brooke and nodded, taking out her business calc and handing it to Brooke, "By the way, I heard there's dead bodies on the turnoff of something along those lines." She said, going back to her work.
(it's fine)
"What?" Brooke was shocked, then shook her head. "Something like that would never happen here. Some kind of hoax, or prank."
"No, you can ask people who will show you proof." Yesim answered, not looking up from her work.
"And you're not concerned about it? It would never happen, Yesim. A hoax." She turns back to her work also.
"You always say that, Brooke." Yesim replied, moving some of her out of her face as she worked.
"And I'm always right. An accountant has to be rational." She concentrated on the screen.
"I know." She concentrated on her screen as well.
“But I guess I’ll look into it, if you insist.” She rolled her shoulders in boredom. “My hours are almost over.”
"Lucky." She concentrated on her screen, wanting to get her work done.
"You can come over to my house later, if you want." Brooke suggested. "I have no other work to do. Do you?"
"I don't have any other work after this so I can come." Yesim replied.
"Okay. Get some time to relax." She rolled her head. "I'm getting stiff."
"Okay then." She replied, trying to quickly finish her work.
Brooke logged off of her computer, spinning around in her chair and taking a swig from her water bottle. She stood. "I'll be in the car waiting, Yesim."
"Got it, Brooke." Yesim nodded slightly, quickly doing her work.
Brooke slid into the car, turning the keys and the AC.
Maybe we should drive by the turnoff, just to see… She thought idly.
Yesim quickly finished her work and slid into Brooke's car, "Hey."
