Jay sat there and looked up at the ceiling.
¨Is that such a bad thing ¨ she said as she pulled away.
"No never." he smiled up at her again "your mom should be here any minute"
¨ÿeah ¨ and just like that catwomans car pulled up.
"Welp, the cat's about to be outta the bag now." he smiled at his little joke, kissed her cheek and straightened up as the infamous Catwoman walked into his family's domain.
"Always a pleasure to see you, Selena." Joker greeted her with his classic smile.

After a couple moments of sitting in silence, clutching her mother's hand, Kate heard someone clear their throat in the doorway. She looked up and saw Phil Coulson looking at her with saddened eyes.
Kate stood up and returned his gaze.
"Hello, Agent Coulson," she said softly.
"Kate," he replied with a nod. "Can I come in?"
She nodded and he entered, coming over to Maria's bedside.
"I never thought I'd ever see her like this," he said quietly.
"Me either," Kate whispered.
