The Only One // One on One // CLOSED

Ayce shrugged a little. "I had a bath earlier. So…bed." he replied, looking up at Nolan.

Nolan nodded. "Would you like one of my shirts?" He asked

Ayce thought for a moment, then nodded a little.

Nolan handed him one of his shirts befpre stripping to his underwear for bed

Ayce took off his shirt and put Nolan's on, snuggling into the soft fabric.

Nolan smiled and kissed his cheek. "How are you doing today darling?" He asked

Ayce let out a breath, and shrugged slightly, sitting down on the bed and taking off his pants, leaving him in just his underwear and Nolan's shirt. "I'm okay, I guess."

Nolan sat next to him. "Are you sure? I know today was uncomfortable for you."

Ayce nodded, and leaned against Nolan. "I'm okay." he said again, looking up at Nolan.

Nolam wrapped his arm around his shoulders. "Good. Im glad." After a pause he asked, "Do you want to talk about what he wanted?"

Ayce shivered a little at that. "I-I…" he looked away, biting his lip.

"Only if you want too darling." Nolan reassured him

Ayce closed his eyes. "I can't let him have that spell." he said softly, leaning on Nolan's shoulder.

"And why not?" Nolan asked, genuinely curious

Ayce let out a breath. "It's too…" he gestured weakly with one hand. "It might end the war, but…"

Nolan nodded. "You dont have to tell me if yiu dint want too."

"No, I just…" Ayce rubbed a hand over his face, eyes closed. He buried his face in Nolan's shoulder. "It would kill so many people, and there are very few Fae whose magic is even strong enough to sustain the spell. I was one of them. And…I don't know…"

Nolan hugged Ayce close to his body. He kissed the top of his head. "Then we can find another way. One that wont be as destructive."

Ayce shook his head a little bit. "Jalaan doesn't want another way. I don't know who…who he's found to be his weapon this time, but…"

Nolan nodded and kissed the top of his head. "We will figure it out." He murmured

Ayce let out a slightly shaky breath, clinging to Nolan. "Okay."

Nolan rubbed his back softly. "It'll be okay. I promise."

Ayce closed his eyes. "You can't promise that, though." he said softly.

"Then I promise I'll try my hardest make everything okay." Nolan murmured

Ayce nodded a little. "Just…don't get hurt, okay?" he asked, opening his eyes and looking at Nolan's face.

"I won't." Nolan promised him. Looked down at him

Ayce nodded a little. He leaned upwards to kiss Nolan, holding onto him.

Nolan returned the kiss, cupping the back of his head

Ayce held onto Nolan, and kept kissing him.

Nolan slowly laid him down on the bed, not breaking the kiss
