The Princess And Her Guard / One-on-One (Closed)

"Sooo….." Dylan started awkwardly.

"Should we try to find some food?" He asked awkwardly.

Dylan nodded, feeling just as awkward, trying not to think about how her and Leon's arms were brushing together. "Where should we start?"

"Umm, maybe the trees?? I'm not that good with this stuff," He said as he tried not to think about how close Dylan and him were.

Dylan nodded and stood up. She turned towards the trees. "Let's go then."

"Okay then," He said as he stood up and followed Dylan.

Dylan pulled herself up in one of the trees. "Hey! This is a pear tree!" She exclaimed happily.

"Yay! I'll look for other trees then," He said as he climbed onto one of the trees, "I found an apple tree!"

"Awesome!" Dylan answered, slipping down the tree with an armful of pears, setting them down by the creek. She was really glad that she had been wearing pants when they ran.

He jumped down with an arm full of apples and set them down by the creek near the pears, "Is this enough or should we get more?"

"I think it's enough for now. After all, there are only two of us."

"Okay then." He said as he sat down on a rock near the creek.

Dylan nodded. "Okay, now what?"

"I don't know."

Dylan sighed. "I don't know either. Anything you'd like to do?"

"I'd like to know what the heck is happening." He said with a sigh.

Dylan put her hand on Leon's shoulder, then quickly dropped it. "We'll figure it out." She said softly, suddenly interested in her feet, realizing yet again how close she was standing to Leon.

"Let's hope we can." He said, realizing how close they were and tensed slightly.

Dylan looked up at Leon. "Uhh….." She took a small step back.

"Is there a problem?" He asked as he looked at her.

"No! No, nothing." She said, a little too fast, a light blush rising to her cheeks.

"Don't you think your response was a little too fast, princess?" He asked curiously with a grin on his face.

"Uh…no?" Dylan squeaked, the blush rising faster.

"And why are you blushing?" He said as his grin became wider, making his dimples show.

"Uh..because….because….." Dylan stammered.

"Because???" He asked.

(You're going to have to make the first move…..Dylan's not going to be able to admit anything.)
"Because……" Dylan continued stammering.

"Because, you like someone and you thought of them??" He said, taking a wild guess.

"Uhh…..yeahhh….." Dylan squeaked, still staring at the ground.

"And who is that person?" He asked curiously.
