Tyler saw Elliot leave the theatre. After finishing their thing, they changed into street clothes(even though it was still showtime) and hiked out the door. where's elliot? she-no, he, thought fearfully. "I hope they're okay." he muttered.
The girl was waiting for Elliot when they got there. “And here I thought I was the only one left, glad to see my trip here wasn’t completely pointless after all.” She said. The girl had a scar across her throat that stood out in the pale street lights.
“What do you want?”
“Ouch that’s a bit harsh, you should be thanking me”
“Why the hell would I thank someone like you” Elliot spat.
The girl chuckled “I see, you’re a deserter”
“So what if I am?”
“Easy kid, I’m not gonna hurt you”

Tyler ran out the door, makeup still slathered on his face. He spotted them talking to a girl. Tyler sprinted over. "Elliot, are you okay?" he panted. "Who is this?'
“Oh yeah I’m fine, this is just….an old friend of mine.” Elliot replied carefully. The girl gave Elliot a curious look before extending a hand for Tyler to shake. “The name’s Niq”

"Niq." Tyler repeated. "I'm Tyler. Elliot and I…" Tyler trailed off. "I invited Elliot to the show tonight. I'm one of the performers." He was still on guard. Who is this Niq? he thought. I should probably take Elliot home…
“That’s pretty interesting honestly! Anyway I should get going but Elliot we should catch up sometime.” Niq said pleasantly

“Ah I’m sorry I’m an actual emotional mess!!!” Elliot laughed embarrassedly.
By now, Harper had finished yelling at the kids and was just leaving. He replaced his cloak and crown with a stylish red jacket and a red beanie before he went back to his apartment.

"Not as much of a mess as me." Tyler giggled back. "Hey, I'm not going back tonight. Wanna go get ice cream?" he asked, a grin widening over his face. "I've got makeup remover in the car, so I'll look like a normal human being."
“Sounds great” Elliot smiled “and trust me if anyone doesn’t look like a normal human being it’s my genderless ass” they laughed again.

Tyler chuckled. "Okay. Here, let's go to my car. It's parked in the back lot." Tyler grabbed Elliot's hand.
Elliot blushed lightly but didn’t protest. They intertwined their fingers with Tyler’s, a small smile appearing on their faces

Tyler grabbed the makeup remover out of the glove compartment. "I'm pretty excited," Tyler said, a smile on his face. "Let's get to A La Mode before it closes." Tyler hopped in the car. "Sit in the passenger." He told Elliot.
Elliot gets in on the other side, humming quietly to themselves. “Now the question is if you have good taste in music or not. If you don’t we might have a problem” They said jokingly.
