The Rainbow Cafe (Closed)

Xiang hums softly as he dances to the radio, working on serving customers. He smiled and laughed with teens and adults, appearing rather happy.

"Well, thanks for asking. How are you, Elliot?" Tyler's blushing slightly.

“I’m doing pretty good” they smiled “nice to see you, did you have a show last night?”

((Hhhhhhhh I shiiiiiiip

“Ugh the most interesting thing I ever do is sleep” they laughed “I did talk to a few of the new kiddos though. So that was definitely interesting.”

Elliot laughed. “I don’t know about that but you do need to get more sleep”

Xiang smiled at the interactions. This is why he loved the cafe. It was quiet. Happy. Filled with many people he cared for.

Harper hummed a bit, typing away on his laptop with a vigor. Some idiotic minor gods were causing trouble again.

After a moment Xiang mande some sweets and a bit of coffee and walked Harper. "May I sit here?" he motions to the opposite seat as he sets the coffee down on the table, along with the treats.

Harper looked up from his laptop, a smile blooming on his face. "Sure! I'm just doing some work, so I welcome any distractions!" He exclaimed.

Xiang laughs softly and sits down, sighing happily. He had a little break, so he decided to spend it with Harper before he got back to work.

"How is the rush today? It just ended, right?" Harper asked, propping his face onto his hands.

He nods and gives a relieved sigh. "Yes. So now everyone can relax a little bit." He leans back and stretches a little, giving a relaxed smile towards Harper.

Harper laughs, typing out something on his laptop with a large smile. "Ah shit." He muttered, peering at something on his laptop.

"You alright love?" he asks gently, glancing at the other in concern. He didn't want to pry, but if something was bothering his friend -cough Crush. cough- he wanted to help.

"Some… Interns… are causing trouble." Harper admits with a sigh, he didn't know why the little gods could just leave him alone.

Xiangs eyes furrow in concern. "I hope things get settled." He says gently, placing a hand on Harper's. "Is there anything I can do?"

"Nope, their just a bunch of horny teens who can't keep their personal ife away from their work." Harper explained bluntly, typing out a response and sending it. "Right now, they should be getting some harder tasks."

He nods and smiles a little. "That's understandable." he stretches a little before taking a six of his coffee, glancing around the cafe. Everything seemed so peaceful. That fact made him smile a little.

"What do you have planned this weekend? You have got to have a day off soon, I don't think you've had one since I started coming here."

He glances up. "I don't think I've had a day off either. Other then when I was sick." He chuckles. "I suppose I could take saturday off." He hums thoughtfully.

“You better!” Elliot interrupted. “If you don’t I actually won’t let you in. You need a break”

Xiang chuckles. "Alright. I'll take a day off. I trust you'll take care of everything, Elliot?" He asks gently.

"You could go shopping with me! Then we could go get lunch, make a day out of it!" Harper rushed out, his face red.

Xiang beams. "That would be fun, love. Thank you." his cheeks are a gentle red. He ties his hair back, smiling a little.

Harper gave an nervous laugh, hiding his face behind his laptop. Be still my beating heart, this man is adorable.

Xiang clears his throat, taking a gentle sip of his coffee. He relaxes, sighing softly. "Thank you for inviting me, love. I look forward to it." he says gently.

Harper coughs, cursing at himself on the inside. You're supposed to be a deity as old as time, w h y a r e y o u l i k e t h i s ? "Sure thing."
