Anaripsa shook Megan's hand and called to Nyx, noticing Nyx's fear of Jack. She looked to Jack as her face darkened. "Kai…He was…here?"

Megan nodded. "He wanted me to give him this braclet." She held up her hand so she could see it.
Jack and Anaripsa looked at each other and smiled. They hugged each other in excitement. "Just a little longer! We may finally be free!" Jack's words were happy, "your time here will be over!"

Excited, they moved back to Dark Rai. The door changed again, bringing them back to the Rift.

“What did the both of you mean by Just a little longer and We may finally be free and your time here will be over.” She paused and looked up at Jack.
Jack sighed, "that place was fictional, made by my magic. The only things that were real were Anaripsa and Nyx. It was a safe place until I caught Kai. She never actually saw the world. I hope to fullfil that. As for the little longer bit, Kai's energy is getting weaker and that means-" Jack froze

"that one world." He whispers, "that one with Monty. His world must house a source of intense energy. Since all of ours is protected, he needs others"

"Forget freedom," Jack's eyes went white, "we need to find Monty or the Kitsune"

They stepped back through the Rift, "I don't know. But we NEED to find him."

Hours has passed and no sign of the kitsune or Kai. The two were getting restless.

Megan laid on the grass, groaning. Every once in a while she would feel a bit of pain but after a couple of seconds it would leave.
Jack sat behind her, clean and tireless. He tilts his head and sighs. He could see that she didn't want to search anymore. "I remember when I used to get as tired as you." points at the scar, "This is a reminder of why I don't."
