Shaiya's form congealed from the shadows.
"Hey," she said. "sorry for my going AWOL, I had to, er, get something."

Megan jumped into the air. “Damn, that scared me.” She tilted her head but smiled.

Shaiya also smiled.
"Come on, I'm not that scary. Is it the eyes?" She fluttered her eyelashes, showing off the lack of scalera in her ultramarine eyes.

“No, it’s that you just came out of literally nowhere. That doesn’t matter now, I’ll give both of you the tour of this place.”

"Sounds good. What is this place, anyways?"

“It’s where i grew up.”

"Oh," Shaiya looked suddenly uncomfortable. "Nice."

Returning to his human form, he smiles and even smirks, "I was just kidding! My home is quite literally a burning hell. Proceed with the tour?"

Megan nodded and proceeded to show them around the town.

Hours had passed while Megan revealed all that she wished to show. Nearing the end of the tour, each felt a force, like a sudden breeze.

Shaiya frowned, again fidgeting with her hair.
"You guys feel that?" She slipped a hand into her pocket unconsciously.

Slowly, she pulled the same orange crystal shard from her pocket, which was now glowing with a sickening light.

Jack pulls out the red blade sword, "what is that anyway?" He points at the orange crystal

"It's one of the shards unique to my universe. It holds Chaos, the only power I'm able to use as a demon, besides death."

Jack stabs the ground with the sword and three stones pop out and swirl around the sword. "I am tired of this!" The stones fuse to the sword and the blade started to glow.

With the now glowing blade, he focused and squinted, "I can't tell…" A sudden force knocked Jack away from the blade
