The sand reminded him of Marya. Didn't everything? The bark on a tree, the cream color of the sand. Felix was always looking for an excuse to think of her. She had taken over his head, and he didn't mind. He liked her there, where he could pretend that he hadn't betrayed her. Where he could pretend that he wasn't a piece of weak crap. Where he could pretend that maybe she'd love him again.

Breeze felt immense sorrow off of the guard. Curse her empathy. She said nothing and stared at the sand in the vial.

Felix bit his lip, walking ahead of Riann and shaking his head.

Riann paced back and forth as she thought and calculated odds. They could go to Dumaria. It would only take about three days and there were oasis' there. She looked down at the letter tucked into the pouch on her side. Then we can go to the Summer Moons festival. Just like we planned.

"We're going to Dumaria." Riann finally said, turning back towards the group. "Sonora is going to be buried for days, and we'll die if we don't get to a different city soon." Her gaze skimmed over a few newly acquired people, wondering if she should let them come too.

Felix nodded, turning his head, "I might have to get back Riann. Caspian's probably going to kill me." fear is a hunter.

(Felix's fatal flaw is probably his fear, about how he's afraid to change, to rebel, to upset someone, to hurt someone (that's good, but sometimes you do the wrong thing for the right reason), to stand up for himself)

(Noice. Alyssa's is probably her complete selflessness. She will literally take a bullet for someone she doesn't even know.)

Alyssa walked back to the group. "I don't know if this helps but I found something."

( Well, Riann's hamartia is probably that she isn't very trusting. She tends to push people away and put this sort of protective wall around herself. )
(Hamartia is just a fancy word for fatal flaw that I like to use xD )

Felix nodded, turning his head, "I might have to get back Riann. Caspian's probably going to kill me." Fear is a hunter.

"Are you sure? You don't have to go back." Riann said. Part of her understood, but the stubborn part wanted him to stay. She didn't want to lose her best friend again.

"I have to go back." Felix insisted, "Caspian's going to kill me." he leaned over and kissed her cheek. "I hope I see you again. But if I don't, I want you to know that I love you." he walked away, black cape flowing in the breeze.

( Haha. They're probably going to try and assasinate Caspian tho )

"Until next time." Riann murmured, but he had already walked away. She turned back towards Cade, adjusting her grip on her sword. "Choose who's coming with us. We're leaving in twenty minutes."

The sand was crinkling under his shoes and when Felix walked back into the palace, Caspian was waiting for him.
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN??"
He cleared his throat, "I believe I was locked outside during a sandstorm."
"You idiot! Why would you do that?!"
Felix walked away and Caspian followed, "As you said, I'm an idiot."

Alyssa walked back to the group. "I don't know if this helps but I found something."

She turned towards the girl. "What did you find?"

(And slush I don't know what she found……)
