"You're all lucky. I've been stuck going to my mom's job after school for most of the year." She said before noticing really how long it's been since they fell apart.
The Runaways (6/6)
"Well, you guys want to get something to eat? I'm pretty hungry." Kim said, breaking the silence. She glanced at all of them, waiting for a response.
Carmen looked up. "Did I hear food?" She asked, grinning. "Because I actually forgot to eat today."
"Ok, let's go!" She stood up. "Where do you guys want to eat?"
"I literally don't care." She said, shrugging.
(I can't think of a place.)
“I’m in the mood for tacos,” Charlise announced with a grin. “Everyone good with that?”
"Fine by me, except I have a deathly allergy to corn." Azalea deadpanned while patting her clothes to remove dust from Adie's fall.
Charlise looked sheepish. “Never mind then. I can’t believe I forgot about that. Pizza?”
"Burgers. I know a place with good seating." Adie offered, pulling his hood over his head. "I am however going to need to wear some sunglasses. I might be banned."
"…Do I wanna know?" Carmen asked. "But if it's Jake's, I'm defo banned."
"And cheese, flour, soy, eggs, and tomatoes. But that's fine."
Lmao jk
“I forgot how hard it is to eat with you people,” Charlise complained, the warmth in her voice showing that she didn’t really mean it.
"I might have uhhhh, broken up with the owners son and now he won't let me in the building."
"How about y'all come to my house? We could order out and watch something like old times." She suggested, remembering that her mom did tell her she could invite them over.
(This would be when they find out their parents are in a cult when they come over)
Carmen looked at him. "Okay, not that is bullshit."
"It's true, I swear!" Adie laughed. "I also might have committed a small criminal offense."
Charlise laughed softly. “Only you, Adie. Only you,” she said affectionately, rolling her eyes. She turned to Azalea with excitement. “That sounds fun, Az! We should totally do that!”
Carmen shrugged. "If it's Jake's, I'm going by Sheena Ramone." She said, laughing.
"It sounds great to me." Kim added, smiling. "So, are we going to spend a while here? Or are we going straight to Azalea's?"

Xeelia rolled her eyes at all the bickering and stood to come over to Azalea, pulling her into a friendly side-hug with a bright smile. "Sounds great! I'm so glad we decided to do this again."
Kim joined in the hug. "Me too."
Azalea hugged them back before pulling away and pulling out her phone to check the time. "Okay, let's head there now then." She said before starting her walk towards her house.
Charlise stood up and brushed herself off before following Azalea, walking with her bike. She could still probably walk to Azalea’s house with her eyes closed, she knew the path so well. It felt good to be with her friends again.
Carmen grinned, hopping up and slinging her guitar across her back again.
Kim followed the others, glad to be around them again.
Adie rolled his eyes and pulled his bag over his shoulder, following the others. "Does your mom still have that pastry stash? Because if she doesn, I'm eating it all."
Azalea turned the corner and her house was just up ahead in sight. "Most likely, I don't really go in there anymore after getting cavities."
Charlise felt a rush of nostalgia just looking at Azalea's house. She smiled at it, feeling glad that her friends had finally gotten back together.
Kim looked at the house. It hadn't changed a bit. Same color, same plants, although they were a bit bigger. She was really excited to be back here.
