The Summer of 2019 (OPEN)

She bit her lip, chewing on it anxiously. Maybe I shouldn't have done that…OH WELL YA DO SOMETHING STUPID YA DEAL WITH THE CONSEQUENCES.

He opened his eyes bravely to look at her. His hand reached to brush his thumb gently across her bottom lip. “Don’t do that, you’ll bleed,”

(4:30 is gonna suck I’m a few hours. Damn)

"Can't help it, it's a bad habit I've picked up over the years." Her eyes peeped open just enough to look at him.

(Oh oops. I don't have school today so I haven't worried about it. I guess I forgot that you actually have a life outside of here. Sorry…)

(I wish I didn’t have school… OR SWIM PRACTICE)

(Oh poor Darren.)

"Can't help it, it's a bad habit I've picked up over the years." Her eyes peeped open just enough to look at him.

“I would normally have some flirty wise ass comment to throw in there filled with sexual tension and angst but… you kiss me just a few seconds ago so…”

(Yes RIP me)

"Was that a mistake?" Her stomach turned over. She wasn't sure if she was going to regret this yet or not.

(RIP all of us. The fact I'm perfectly awake is concerning.)

“No. I thought I was daydreaming again. It happens a lot. I’ll drift off and fantasize about you actually liking me… I know, ridiculous…”

"Well it's not a fantasy anymore. Clearly." She muttered to herself.

“I’m gonna need some more convincing,” and he’s back… wise ass flirtations. “I didn’t know you liked me,”

"And I didn't know you liked me. So we're even, aren't we lover boy?" She smirked.

“We both suck at communication especially about feelings,” he stood up and offered a hand for her to do the same. The night sky darkened the roof they sat in.

She took it gratefully, pulling herself to her feet. "Yeah, I think we both figured that out a while ago."

“So bunk buddy… I’m ready for bed. How bout you?”

"Hmm, about as ready as I'll ever be. At least it won't be as tense as it was going to be." She chuckled, jumping down from the ledge of the roof.

He chuckled and jumped down after her, leading the way back to bed where he quickly grabbed the small metal car from her sight.

She noted the small object in her memory but didn't say anything about it. She couldn't help but yawn, had she always been this tired or was it just catching up to her now?

He laid down quietly, leaving more than enough room for her.

She laid next to him, being wary of the extra space at first before giving up and unashamedly cuddling into him, regretting nothing about what she'd done. Yet.

He smiled and wrapped his arms around her. He felt like he could wake up from this and find it all been a dream.

She couldn't help but smile. Her first real smile in a long time. She relaxed into his grip and her eyes fluttered shut, quickly falling asleep.

“Goodnight Love,” he whispered, knowing fairwell she was sleeping.

She smiled a little. She'd heard him but seeing as she was asleep, she couldn't answer. She thought it was just something from her dream.

He held her and the toy car close, he wouldn’t give up tradition just because she was with him.

(Just so the people here are aware. Jacks and I didn’t progress the story line majorly. The pages we filled were just random fluff and happens to be unimportant to anyone but us.)
