Nathaniel picked at his finger nails and leaned back on his chair causing the two legs in front to lift from the ground. He looked around the group waiting patiently for someone to speak so he wouldn’t have to. What were they going to do? One wrong step and they would be dead.

Caroline looked at over the deserted wasteland, cracking and popping her gum. "If only you were here Mikey. You would've loved this." She sighed, looking down at the only picture of her family she had left in her locket. Her parents, her younger brother, her boyfriend, and her all smiling happily. She closed the locket and walked back inside the abandoned diner where she lived on her own. She hadn't met another rebel group in months, years even.

“Are you talking to yourself or do have something you’d lime to share?” Nate looked at Caroline with a blank stare.

"Fuck off Nate, will ya?" She rolled her eyes, running her fingers through her slightly messy bright blue hair.

Sisi threw his hair out of his face as he brooded in the back area of a dumpster. He had his back leaned on the brick wall of the surrounding building, and was rifling dully though a trash bag. He flicked empty bottles of beer away, empty cans, cigarette boxes and lighters away. He gave a faint sigh and leaned back again. He was going to go hungry again.

Alex was quietly fiddling with a piece of tech he had salvaged. He was half paying attention to the conversation.
