The Vault (Closed)

Mallory slipped a pie in the oven for dessert.

"Tristan," He answered smiling.

"Cool, names Jules."

"Heres the leftovers," she gave the boys each a container. "I put apple pie in the oven if you want some," Mallory gave a small smile

"Nice to meet you, sir." He responded.

"Apple pie?!" Tristan exclaimed bewildered, "Yay!"

(Uh, where's Melanie in all of this..? How should I insert her?)

(Sorry guys! I just woke up! I have a snow day today😁 @CoolCat, Finn is just standing in the street so maybe he could run into Melanie?)

Mallory giggled at Tristan's excitement

"Nice to mee you too Tristan, & thanks Mallory!"

"No problem."

Jules starts to eat only to burn his tongue on the food "AH!"

Mallory turns around. "Oh no! Are you ok?" she rushes over to see what happened.

"Yeah, I'm fine ow." Jules drinks some of his water to cool the burn.

(They aren't at the diner anymore, their at Mallory's house)

"I'll get you some ice." Mallory ran over to the icebox

"Tristan, will you get the door?"

Finn heaved a quiet sigh, watching people walk past him on the street. He began to trudge home, which was a broken down SUV he’d taken up residence in. Another day without food wouldn’t kill him.

"Yeah, sure!" Tristan opened the door and found Melanie there.

Mallory got him some ice wrapped in a towel. "I'm sorry."

Tristan glanced at the slowly darkening sky, "I should go soon." He said to Mallory.

"Hey, Trouble! Whatcha doing?" Melanie noticed the other people and sighed. "Of course you'd be with other people. That's fine. I think I'll take my leave now. I just wanted to see how you're doing, anyways."

Mallory turned her head to him. "I'll get you some pie for the road since you seemed so excited to have some." she gave another apologetic look to Jules and went to bag up some pie.

Finn reached the car, which was around the corner from Tristan’s treehouse. He opened up the door to the backseat, sliding inside.

"Oh no! I'm leaving now so I'll walk with you if you want?"

Mallory ran up to Tristan with some pie. "Be safe walking home, and thank you for the jam."

"You're welcome, Bye!"

"Sure! You gave her…jam? Interesting, to say the least." Melanie faked a smile and started to walk away right before she tossed her head back. "Where you wanna go? I've got no particular place in mind, so I'll leave it to you if you'd like."

"Come visit me anytime." Mallory waved and turned back to Jules
