The Vault (Closed)

“Hey?” Finn looked a little confused, gripping his guitar somewhat threateningly.

Melanie scowled at the commotion, but approached Trouble from behind, resting a hand on his shoulder.
"Nice to see some…familiar faces around here. Not that I'd say the same for you." Melanie nods in the man's direction.

The man chuckled nervously. "Not a people person I see?"

"What kind of announcement?" Tristan asked excitedly, "Oh hey Mel! And Finn! Here's your coin!" he tossed the coin back at Finn.

"And oh! miss Mallory! Hiiii!"

Mallory waved at Triston. "Whats going on?"

Finn caught the coin and groaned in annoyance. “Not to strangers. What’re you doin’ talking up Tristan?” His grip on the guitar tightened.

TRISTAAAAAAAAAAAN

"I don't know! This cool guy I just met has an announcement!"

"I do and I think you'll like it." The man smiled at Tristan and got up on the pole.

Melanie sighed. Great. More people. Just what I need… "You've assumed correctly. The only person I'd bother to care about is little Trouble here."

(Lmao you know Finn is serious when he brings out the real names.)

Finn stared up at the man, holding his guitar like a baseball bat.

(IS HE A POLE DANCER?!)

Tristan looked excitedly up at the man, "You're real cool sir!" He smiled at Melanie, "I'm sure he has stuff we might all like!"

"Here ye Here ye, I have an announcement from my glorious leader back from the town I came. Disaster has hit from the wars you had to overcome, BUT I was told to bring people from different places back to my homeland. I am here to help you all. The flowers we grow are so vibrant it hurts your eyes, there's so much land to farm you don't have to fight over it, and great big walls surround the place to keep out intruders. We call this place…The Vault." The man smiled at the crowd gathered around him.

The silence had turned to whispers and murmuring.

(SAMUEL SEABURY HAS ENTERED THE CHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT)

"Really?!" Tristan looked excited, "Can I go, sir?"

Finn’s eyes lit up with curiosity, but he said nothing.

The man smiled. "Of course you can young one but be warned, the travel will take some time."

Mallory's eyes widened. Oh how she longed to escape this depressing place.

Melanie was skeptical. "I'm…sorry? What about those who had a hard life? I, for one, should know what it's like to do things for myself. Are you just, what, recruiting people to go somewhere that we don't even know exists?" Melanie's hands clenched into fists, but she restrained herself from saying any more.

"I'm up for the challenge, sir!"

“If Trouble’s goin’ Im coming with him!” Finn announced boldly, as if challenging the man to deny him.

Mallory walked up to the man. "If it gets me out of here, I'm in"

Finn looked over st Melanie, realizing she had a point, but at the same time, he couldn’t let Trouble go out into the wilderness without him.

"When do we leave?" Mallory asked. She had to sneak in her room for clothes and supplies and sneak out.

"How about we leave tomorrow afternoon?" the man smiled at the group he had made.

"Sounds great!" Tristan pumped his fists in the air, "What is your name, sir?"

"The names Charles, Charles Hanson." the man beamed

(He wouldn’t have anything to do with Charles Manson, right????)

Finn wasn’t sure how to react, so he remained silent for the time being.

"Cool! I'm Tristan, Tristan Maker! or Trouble whichever you prefer! What will we need to bring with us on the trip? I'm not very good a packing…"

(No nothing to do with Charles Manson. I chose Charles for some reason and Hanson was because of something funny I saw)
