“ there's nothing left to say now.”

Corbin carefully cleaned Cyrus' wounds and then bandaged him up, making sure that the bandages weren't too tight. "Does that feel alright?" He asked.

“ yeah, thanks babe” he said softly, the embarrassment was clear in his voice as he walked out to go get fully dressed

"Of course… are you alright?" Corbin asked softly as he followed Cyrus out of the bathroom. He preened his wings as he walked.

“ yeah? Why wouldn't be?” he said playing off his emotions again. He slipped a shirt on and his baggy jacket. He’d already had pants on and given his wings a once over.

"Your tone was a little weird, that's all… I thought you might be upset." Corbin rummaged through his drawers to try and find something to wear as well.

Cyrus sighed and went up behind corbin, wrapping his arms around the other's waist “ just tired of feeling like I'm chasing my tail. I get the fuck beat outa me for no reason. Or reward “

Corbin looked up when Cyrus hugged him, trilling questioningly. "Mm… yeah. It sucks. I wish you didn't have to do training all the time…" He sighed. "I don't like you getting hurt…"

“ trust me, I don't like it either but I have to..” he said softly

Corbin turned around and buried his face in Cyrus' chest. "I just… wish there was more I could do…"

“ I know..” he said and rubbed corbins back “you're helping the most by just being there for me. I'd be in a lot worse shape if it wasn't for you.

"Mmnh… if you say so…" Corbin sighed and hugged Cyrus tighter. "I wanna do everything I can to help… my dads feel the same way, I think."

“ you think?” he joked a bit to lighten the mood. He picked corbin up, wrapping his wings around the smaller and just snuggling him. “ I love you, so much. “ he said softly

"Yeah, yeah… I can't speak for my dads." Corbin laughed weakly and rested his forehead against Cyrus' when they were on level with each other. "I love you too…"

Cyrus gave a warm smile, “ I love you more “ he said softly with a laugh. He kissed corbin gently and set him down. “ I'm going to go make cereal, go get dressed love”

"Mm…" Corbin returned the kiss and hummed happily, adjusting his stance once he was back on his feet. "Okay… see you soon." When Cyrus had left, Corbin got dressed and then headed out to the kitchen.

Cyrus came out of the kitchen in time to hand corbin his bowl. He smiled softly and sat down on the couch.

"Thanks, Cy…" Corbin smiled softly as well and followed Cyrus to the couch to sit with him. "At least we can chill today…"

“ yeah, I'd still like to sleep “ he mumbled softly and are his cereal

Corbin nodded a bit. "We can always go back to sleep after we're done eating."

“ But we have to go to your dad's today..” he mentioned. Once Cyrus was done eating he pulled corbin into his lap, cuddling the other.

"Yeah, but we can do that whenever." Corbin shrugged and rested his head on Cyrus' shoulder, relaxing in his arms.

Cyrus chirped a bit, nuzzling into corbin.

"Just let me know when you want to leave, okay?"

“ okay..” he wrapped his wings around Corbin and smiled softly

Corbin hummed softly and buried his face in Cyrus' shoulder, seeming content to rest for a while.

Cyrus ran his fingers through Corbin’s hair, humming a soft melody

After a while, Corbin managed to drift off to sleep and relaxed in Cyrus' arms.

Cyrus stayed up, watching Corbin for any signs discomfort

Corbin whined softly after a little less than an hour, stirring and gripping Cyrus more tightly in his sleep.

Cyrus noticed, running Corbin’s back softly. “ I got you..” he whispered
