Alex's brow furrowed as she peered out the window. A thought came to mind as she stared into the abyss. "Hey, have either of you heard of the theory of alternate universes?"
There's way too many RPs so I'm making another one [OPEN]
"Yeah, I practically live in a universe with like, a million other ones in it," Kaz said
"Of course I have darling. I own one."
She let the curtain fall back into place and looked over at the others. "No alternate dimensions, I mean universes. There are supposed to be an infinite amount of them, and it should be impossible to travel from one universe to the other." She started pacing. "Unless the theory is wrong. In that case, I wouldn't even know where to start."
"Yes, I own one. Long story, had a bet with my past self and… well, long story."
"Don't tell it, we don't have the time." She fiddled with one of the zippers on her pockets. "Any other ideas?" Alex asked, looking between Kaz and Missy.
"Well, I've got a friend who specializes in interdimensional travel. Maybe I could summon him?" Kaz suggested
"You could try," she said, shrugging. Her eyes searched to room, searching for her sword. She remembered having it before she fell asleep last night.
"Alrighty, be right back." Kaz stood and made his way to the kitchen, looking for something. He returned a few minutes later with a canister of salt, a bowl, and a knife. "All who are squeamish, look away now."
"I'm actually curious, what are you going to do?" She asked, leaning forward a bit in interest.
"Oh, well I could call my boyfriend." Missy said, dialing into a phone like device.
Alex turned to look at Missy again. "You have a boyfriend?" She asked in genuine disbelief.
"Of course I do darling. He's a Doctor."
"And what's your boyfriend gonna do, preen?" Kaz scoffed. He turned his back, fishing a key out of his pocket and setting it in the bowl. He poured salt into it, and then took the knife to prick his finger and draw some blood to drip into the bowl. There was a crackle of electricity that hit the bowl, and it began to smoke
"Get me out of here and I'll make him leave you by saying that you're daleks."
Alex rolled her eyes. "I could care less about your doctor and what he thinks of any of us. I just want to get out of here."
"Oh, shut up already," Kaz grumbled
"Actually he would believe me….. well, that plan scuppered."
Kaz sighed, sitting down in front of the bowl. It continued to smoke, flinging purple and blue sparks here and there
"Well, let's explore. We haven't even left the room. Well, you haven't, but this is a mansion, scanned it myself."
"Is there anybody else here?"
"I couldn't tell you if I knew."
