"I know." He whispered
Time and Death [One-on-one] (CLOSED)
"But…"
"But what, darling?"
"You," Tal sighed.
"What about me?"
Tal surveyed him. "Everything."
"Oh?" He asked, raising his eyebrow
Tal bites her tongue slyly. "You're too perfect. Stop being so perfect."
"I could say the same for you." He said coyly
"How considerate," Tal retorted teasingly.
"Why thank you."
"You're welcome. Now can we review the plans?"
He nodded. "Lead the way, dear."
Tal wrapped her fingers around his wrist and pulled him into her living room.
He followed after her.
The room was big and expensive looking. Mahogany with gold trim was everywhere, and a huge fireplace loomed against a wall. The main table held many maps, charts, and papers.
"Well, my dear?"
Tal sighed. "I don't know. I've hit a dead end every time I try to figure out how to undo the curse."
He nodded. "I've been unable to coax any information from her."
"Does she still think that the two of you are 'in love'?" she asked sharply.
"No, thankfully. She managed to pick up the hints." He said coldly.
"Sh… ugar. Even though we both despise her… maybe it would give us an in."
He shook his head. "I tried, honestly- she won't have it."
"Someone close to her? Luck, maybe?"
He hummed thoughtfully. "Perhaps, but she can be stubborn-even to Luck."
"Luck is vulnerable. That's all I'm saying. It's worth a shot," Tal suggested, glaring daggers at the fireplace. She was tired of imagining her boyfriend kissing other girls.
"Fair point, Luck does have a certain affect on her…"
"Here's what I'm thinking. Mistress is close to Luck. Luck is vulnerable, so you'll get her easy. Once you get in with Luck, you get in with Mistress. Boom."
He nodded.
Tal quickly stood up and kissed him again, quickly. She broke off. "Mistress is going to be here soon anyway to check on me. You'd better leave."
